Handsome Ralph came for his groom and brought his gorgeous baby sister Willow with him for her very first groom! 🐶💕

Willow was such a little superstar and took everything in her stride. She was so good for her first experience and did brilliantly from start to finish! ⭐️

Having big brother Ralph there must have helped her feel much more confident although I think Willow might have been keeping a very close eye on how her big brother was doing! 🐾

Well done, beautiful Willow — what a fabulous first groom! ❤️✂️

Beautiful Poppy the Westie was originally booked in for a handstrip. However, as she’s getting older, Poppy has decided that handstripping just isn’t for her anymore!

She was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the process and simply wasn’t tolerating it like she used to. After chatting with Poppy’s owner, we decided that a clip would be the kinder and more comfortable option for her. ❤️

Grooming should always be about keeping our dogs comfortable and happy, and sometimes that means adapting the groom to suit the individual dog. 🐶💕

Poppy was much happier having her coat clipped, and she looked absolutely gorgeous when she was finished! 😍✂️

Well done, beautiful Poppy — you were such a good girl! 🐾❤️

Rufus & Frankie’s Grooming Day!

Rufus came in for his groom today, accompanied by his adorable little brother Frankie 🥰🐶

Frankie was such a good boy and took his first groom completely in his stride! He was so well behaved from start to finish and made my job an absolute pleasure. 💙

And of course, Rufus had an important job to do… showing his little brother Frankie exactly how it’s done! 🐾

It was so lovely having these two handsome little Dachshunds in together. I think Frankie has got a brilliant role model in his big brother! ❤️

☀️ Heatwave Notice ☀️

With the warmer weather expected this week, the comfort and safety of your dogs will always be my top priority.

Im doing everything I can to keep the salon as cool and comfortable as possible. However, if temperatures become too high, there may be occasions where it is in your dog’s best interests to postpone and reschedule their grooming appointment for a cooler day. If this becomes necessary, I will contact you as soon as possible.

I would also kindly ask that, where possible, dogs are transported to their appointment rather than walked, especially during the hottest parts of the day. Hot pavements and high temperatures can quickly lead to discomfort, burns to paw pads, and heat-related illness.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Lovely Blaze the Border Terrier came in today for his summer tidy-up, and he was an absolute gentleman as always. ✂️💙

As he’s getting older now, we keep his groom calm, gentle, and comfortable so he can enjoy a relaxed pamper while still leaving looking smart and feeling fresh. 🛁✨

A nice tidy trim is perfect for the warmer months, helping him stay cool and comfy while still keeping that classic Border Terrier charm. 🐶💛

Beautiful Luna came in for a bath and deshed today, and what a difference it made! 🛁💕

After a thorough wash and plenty of brushing, which helped to remove all that loose fur, leaving her coat looking shiny, healthy, and feeling super soft. ✨🐶

Luna was a pleasure to groom and enjoyed lots of pampering along the way.

This handsome boy came in for a bath and tidy today and left looking and feeling his best! 🛁✨

During his groom, a tick was spotted ahiding away in his coat, which we safely removed before giving him a good freshen-up. 🐶❤️

Bear was such a good boy throughout his visit, and after lots of pampering, he’s looking clean, tidy, and ready for plenty of cuddles! 🐻💙
