Fantastic afternoon here at Longholes. Thank you to everyone who came today, they had a behind the scenes experience showcasing all the facilities that are available with us! It was a pleasure to take part of national racehorse week and celebrating the racehorse, helping them recover, rehabilitate and return to racing is an important part of what we do. Dark tornado was a superstar on the water treadmill and ROR horse hammy was very happy with his carrots from our visitors.

It was lovely to welcome instructors and students from to Longholes last week as part of their Applied Equine Hydrotherapy practical training. A wide variety of horses allowed students to develop skills in assessing and monitoring horses while safely using the hydrotherapy machines. Ongoing learning and continued professional development is an important aspect of raising and maintaining standards within the industry. We are committed to this here at Longholes, which is why Helen is currently working towards the L6 Applied Advanced Equine Hydrotherapy qualification, and we look forward to working with VetHed to bring further learning opportunities to LETC.
