Hi, I'm Dawn; a professional and reliable dog walking service in the Chesterfield area. I offer solo and group dog walking, and home visits and I specialise in offering safe and secure free play sessions for dogs who you usually wouldn't risk being off the lead. I'm fully insured, police-checked and have over 20 years of industry experience. I have had a huge passion for animals but especially dog

s since I was young. My career started young working in kennels, grooming salons, and volunteering at the RSPCA which, over time then led me to train to become a lecturer. I passed my PGCE and qualified at the age of 23 and have since been lucky enough to be an Animal Care lecturer, Dog grooming lecturer, NVQ Assessor in Animal care, & a dog grooming stylist & manager. I have extensive knowledge and experience in dog behaviour, welfare and grooming as well as caring for exotic species and small animals and cats.

This week has been so emotional 😞 I've done a lot of crying, hugging and kissing all those amazing dogs I have had the privilege to know and care for. I will be forever grateful to have created such special bonds and I am going to miss each and every one of them.

To the pawrents, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me with your furbabies and allowing me to be a part of their life. You have all been the best clients anyone could ever wish for. Thank you for all my gifts, cards and well wishes, (crying again) it means so much to me.

Going forward..... Dawn from Dogland will be taking over zoomies from tomorrow. She is an incredible lady and clearly puts the pets' needs first, already running a successful, award-winning daycare and hotel business. She will be taking over the page and website so they will still be active.

I wish you all the best, and I hope you keep in touch and send me updates on your furbabies.

The safety and welfare of all my dogs are paramount. Driving in a van is harder than driving a car and it is not as easy to control.

I have just been out to assess my road and get the van running but its just slipping and sliding trying to get off my drive. Most of my dogs are on estates and not main roads so this is something I also have to consider.

My sons school has also declared a snow day so I have the added risk of him being in the van.

I will send messages to everyone today. ❤️

We had a fabulous night last night. Was really good to get dressed up and out with the best people 🥰 we had lots of fun and laughter and a few cheeky drinks on my part 😂

I am extremely proud of myself and my team by making it as a finalist. It was such a honour to have been recognised for the work we do and the love we have for all our furbabies in our zoomies family. I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to care, love and look after your pets over the last year and a half. It means the world to me. We may not have won an award last night, but I feel like I have already won by having a successful business full of amazing pets and clients, all achieved by hard work and recommendations from all of you.

Cold but fun day with the Zoomies family

These beautiful dogs definitely know how to put a smile on our face. We had a brilliant freeplay with lots of lovely playing and zoomies. A calm stroll with Aria (i forgot to take a video 🤦🏼‍♀️) A beautiful walk down the canal with Azula and a playful walk with Jake 🥰🐾 I have started organising Christmas dates this evening and it’s now time for a cuppa, some food and a shower 😀 all ready to go again tomorrow 🐾

Monday Funday 🐾😀 we had lots of zoomies during our freeplay sessions. I love the friendships they have built 🥰 and cuddles and playtime on our solo walks and home visits 😀🐾

Beautiful day with beautiful pups 😀 lovely group walk this morning with Finley, Perry, Smartie and Olive. Bubba and daisy had a nice chilled walk with cuddles after, Indie enjoyed her walk in the fields and Olive loved her home visit 🥰

Zoomies family. Some sunshine with a little shower on freeplay but all of the dogs have enjoyed their walks and freeplay 😀
