*** YOGI BEAR UPDATE ***
We are delighted to tell you that Yogi has been for another heart scan and his heart condition has gone from ‘very severe’ to ‘mild’. 👏👏👏👏
The Cardiology hospital are thrilled with him.
This is a huge success story and we are so happy we decided to fight for him.
He will slowly be weaned off his medication over the next 8 weeks and then have another scan. If all is well Yogi should lead a normal doggy life with yearly check ups 👏👏👏👏
I want to say a huge Thank you to everyone who donated and prayed for Yogi and
to everyone at the Cardiology hospital especially Emily for everything they have done.

**UPDATE ON YOGI BEAR**
Yogi is doing really well. Still on crate rest and 5 min lead breaks but he has his check up in 10 days and hopefully he will be off crate rest and able to play with his best friend Scampi again 🥰🐶

Thought I would send you a little update of how Blossom is coming on! We went to a socialising class and she was promoted after 10 mins!! She’s doing brilliant. Thank you so much for her she is completely adored by us all ###

**UPDATE ON YOGI BEAR**
Yogi is home and doing well
Operation was a huge success
Some irregular heart rhythms but vet said this is normal after this operation
Needs check ups and yearly scans for next 3 years but all being well 👍🏻 he will lead a normal doggy life.
Below is part of his discharge letter:

Yogi was anesthetised for a balloon valvuloplasty on 13/04/2026. Two 14 mm diameter balloons (high pressure and low pressure balloon) were successfully inflated across the stenosis. No significant complications were observed during the procedure and Yogi recovered from anaesthesia without difficulty. A recheck echocardiogram the following day revealed that the surgery was successful, as the pressure gradient had decreased from 180 mmHg (very severe) to 49 mmHg (mild to moderate range). This is great news! We will continue Yogi on the following medications. A recheck examination is recommended in 1 month.
