Another Christmas commission.

Black dogs are a real challenge, but as an older girl she had a lot of white whiskers to add character. I had to watch a couple of tutorials from Bonnie Snowdon to get the texture right. Also picked up some tips on adding white over the darker colours.

Now gifted so I can do a wee update on one of the Christmas illustrations I’ve been working on. Here is the lovely Blue, a Border Collie sadly passed over the rainbow bridge, but hopefully this will bring a smile to Lesley & Lawrence.

Blue has been a delight to work on, there’s so much going on in the colours of the fur.

Since I started I’ve been seeing pugs everywhere!

Loved doing this illustration of Leah and the horse. Haven’t done hardly any equine images so it was a good challenge.
