To all I want to address this matter regarding exsisting clients and but also to assure to new clients that drastic changes have been made and put in place for tiny paws to be successful and have highest standard of care
Over the past few days I’ve had some negative comments regarding an existent client and the responsibility of care of there dog that was in my care at the time
Yes I hold my hands up take the full blame and responsibility and have learnt my mistake
Retractable leads are not safe
Yes I did misplace a dog. yes I did everything I could to look for the pup and contacted correct ppl that was able to assist and help me find the dog that was lost and I can only deeply sincerely apologies for this situation and the stress that was caused a few years ago
In this time I have made drastic chances
1. there are no tractable leads used in my care
and have the correct support leads use
2 Guide and quality care given that is needed to carry out a fully working successful Bussiness of tiny paws 🐾
3. This has taught me to do full back ground checks on dogs that come into my care knowing there full history and behaviour before considering to take on the client and there dog needs
4. Every dog walk or dog sit that is carried out to be walked on a sensible lead and NOT a retractable lead
But also to be walked solely on there own as 121 and not in a group with other dogs
I fully understand that some people will have there own opinions because of the comments made and what this person had experienced before I made the decision to withdraw retractor leads
however it was on one occasion when we was at the begininging with a tractable lead that I did loose the dog
all the other times when there fluffy companion have been in my care there was no concerns raised at all ( apart from this one time )
But I can fully reassure new and exsisting clients that this will and would not happen again
I also want to thank all of those that have shown great kindness and support throughout tiny paws and are still clinets since I opened tiny paws a few years ago
