🐾 A little change for the business…

Rachael Peters – Pet Sitter is becoming
🌿 Gorse Wood Pet Services 🌿

There’s a really lovely reason behind the change.

Although the business started with just me, Max has become a huge part of it too. He helps behind the scenes, supports me with the animals, and is always there when I need an extra pair of hands — and increasingly, he’s involved in the day-to-day running of the business.

It no longer feels like it’s just my business. It’s something we’ve built together. ❤️

We also felt that Gorse Wood Pet Services better reflects what we offer. We care for so much more than dogs and cats — horses, ponies, goats, chickens and all the other wonderful animals that our clients trust us with. 🐶🐱🐴🐐🐔

The same people, the same care, the same commitment and the same personal service you’ve always received — just under a name that feels much more representative of us and what we do.

And of course, I’m still very much here! 😄

Thank you to every single client who has supported my little business, trusted us with your precious animals and helped it grow into something I’m incredibly proud of.

🌿🐾 It’s like a jungle out there! 🕷️
With the warmer weather, ticks are out in force and looking for their next meal – whether that’s your dog or you!
A few minutes spent checking after every countryside walk could prevent some very nasty illnesses. Pay particular attention to your dog’s legs, face, ears and between their toes, and don’t forget to check yourself too.
For extra protection, wear long sleeves and tuck your trousers into your socks when walking through long grass or woodland.
Stay safe, enjoy your adventures, and don’t let the ticks win! 🐶💚

Yesterday I had the pleasure of checking out a new local dog field. Paws In Pastures is set in an idyllic, peaceful location offering a lovely secure paddock, indoor area and picnic tables. This is the perfect resource for training and for anxious dogs, so you can all relax.
Next time I go back, I’m taking a picnic! 😊🐾🐾
