Upside of this weather is that horses quite chilled standing in shade and easier to pull manes without complaint!
Today was mane /tail day. Horses already looking comfortable with thinned out manes and less length to get sweaty under:)) still bit more thinning to go but satisfying start.

Yesterday was another Fergus day. Lovely to see him and Fergus thought the same as he had developed an immense depth of coat. Must have been like wearing ski wear in this heat. And topped off clip with wash down with NAF love the skin you’re in:))
Didn’t appreciate the fly rug and added a few more holes in it but certainly ready for any further heatwaves!!!!!

Lovely day to clip today and Fergus was really pleased that I clipped through his polar like coat and he relaxed as fresh breeze passed by and cooled him.
Then a hot cloth with ‘love the skin you’re in ‘ before a fly rug and a trip into a lovely grassy paddock.
Fergus’ pamper day was great to be part of today and he was a happy happy pony:)))
