🐾 Meet Harley 🐾

Harley has been seeing Sophie for monthly massage and electrotherapy sessions for management against age related conditions.

As Harley is 6, she is reaching an age for dogs more likely to see age related conditions like Osteoarthritis. She receives massage and electrotherapy treatment to relieve forelimb hypertonicity (tension), compensations through her spinal muscles and muscle wastage to her hind limbs caused by possible joint changes.

Harley is also taking Antinol, provided by Canine Comfort, to help aid arthritic joint changes. As well as this, it has also had a very positive impact on her intermittent skin issues common for Boxers.

Here she is enjoying her treatment with Sophie, doing everything to work around her to aid peak comfort levels during her session.

Hi everyone!
From tomorrow I will be starting this amazing challenge with the Dogs Trust!
This year, being a canine therapist I wanted to give to those animals in need that don’t have loving families to care for their treatments by fundraising for their veterinary and rehabilitate treatments!
Any donations will help this amazing charity continue their fabulous work.
Me and Bailey will be tracking our distance as we go through the fundraising page.
Thank you 🐾

🐾 Meet Willow 🐾

Willow has been seeing Sophie for monthly massage and electrotherapy sessions to assist with her compensatory musculoskeletal issues.

Willow was a rescue and not much was known about her clinical history. She undertakes treatment to help correct forelimb tension from cranial loading, tension and compensation through her spinal muscles and muscle wastage to her hind limbs.

Here she is enjoying her massage and electro therapy treatment to help her live a more comfortable and happy lifestyle.

Isn’t she lovely! 🐾

Pre-habilitation is all about supporting your dog’s body before injury or dysfunction occurs. By maintaining muscle tone and strength, joint mobility and optimal movement patterns, pre-hab helps reduce the risk of strain, improves recovery and supports long-term comfort and performance.

Whether your dog is an active athlete, a working dog, a growing puppy or a senior companion, early preventative care helps keep them moving safely and confidently at every stage of life.

Every dog should be entitled to preventative care throughout their life, just like us humans do for ourselves.

If you think your dog could benefit from a structured pre-habilitation plan, please contact us to discuss what would work best for your canine companion. 🐾

🐾Meet Wilma🐾

Wilma has been seeing Sophie for monthly massage to help prevent breed related muscle tension and compensations. She is also receiving this treatment as a preventative treatment as she ages to help prevent the inevitable effects of canine geriatric conditions like arthritis.

This cheeky girl is always a pleasure to treat, how cute is she! 🐾
