Harley flew round Pontispool the other week, he was lovely throughout to finish 10th just adding 2TP on his dressage score. Felt like a lovely test but unfortunately not quite up to his 26 of his last one, fingers crossed ahead of the next one to get in that region again🤞 Was a great course with loads of alternative options felt like such a fun one to ride round, thank you to the lovely fence judges at 7/8 for giving him a cheer as we came past! Super pleased to see him sat at the top of the leaderboard for the 90S league, aiming to take him to champs this year so am very happy to see him enjoying all the runs!

Milton Keynes Half Marathon with 🌟 What an experience this was, bank holiday spend pushing ourselves and running amongst the atmosphere - super pleased to have completed in my quickest time yet of 1hr 53! I aimed to beat my previous time from Great North run and really had to work hard for it, was definitely feeling more tired than usual and DEFINITELY today this is probably the worst doms I’ve ever had 🤣

Massive thanks to chef and the more prepared runner with all the gels, pasta and Lucozade needed for us to pull it out the bag! Cannot get over this medal, I mean it’s different to say the least..

Such a close one yesterday and would’ve been highly satisfying to keep his placing streak from 4th to 3rd to a 2nd… but a very silly rider error XC when I should’ve stuck to riding these fences as I know, highly preventable and lesson certainly learnt here. Harley was absolutely fantastic as a whole and am so pleased with how he was albeit slightly tired XC he still gave a lot for me, 2nd best dressage score of the section and first ever 10 on the sheet!! Just as we did with the dressage, we shall bounce back to get what we’ve been chasing 💪

A non horsey venture earlier this week to Tulleys Tulip Gardens in Warwickshire with Zuza, this place is so beautiful! Wearing Bourton Stripe Jumper - currently in the Spring sale on their website available in all sizes 🌷 This jumper really pops out against all the vibrant tulips, been reaching for this a lot recently as the colours are perfect for Spring! Had some good weather which made it even more worthwhile and came home with a pretty full boot of tulips.. this is one of those places you’ve gotta go and see, genuinely so magical. Swipe to the last to see me in a giant clog 🇳🇱

Had a blast at Hazelton CC90 for Harley to take 🥉 position in his section. He was fantastic yesterday, especially as his prep had been limited the past couple of weeks as he got a really bad cough which luckily cleared up beginning of this week. He came out feeling fantastic, flew round DC and took some flyers round the course he was so keen to take it on!

A rather *interesting* dressage score to say the least, I thought I’d heard incorrectly over the tannoy when they announced 40.5 😳 A 12 mark difference from his average score raised a few alarm bells and thought I must’ve ridden it wrong… nope! Judge just marked v harsh, we got lovely comments from others saying how beautiful he moved so was pretty shocked but unfortunately nothing could do about it. Harley was genuinely fantastic regardless and had a blast, just gonna especially work on the dressage now and use it as an opportunity to be better! Thank you to my tip top grooms and Cotswold Cup for another great fixture, loved the longer XC course and the extra challenges added on the track!

Harley was super at Arena Eventing yesterday, 2 lovely clears in the 80/90 yet unfortunately a couple of time pens as it came up much faster than I anticipated! Main thing was he jumped well and feels ready for another outing, am pleased how he went and he actually got a qualifying spot in the 80 regardless ☺️

Wearing Motion3, the most lightweight and versatile body protector I’ve worn! Perfect for arena Eventing and XC practice in these Winter months leading up to the Event season. Fancy one fitted? If you’re local to Worcester stock and fit these ⭐️

Reminiscing 1 year ago today, Ruby and I completing our first ever competition in Manchester 💪🏼 The training was tough but was SO worth it, am really hoping to do another one this year if I can get tickets! Fair to say I was locked in for the race rather than the camera, my sled pull pictures really are something 🤣

Hopping onto the 2016 trend, had to get most of these from mums facebook as I could barely find anything in my archives! I wonder if 14 year old Abby knew that 10 years later she’d still be obsessed with horses and evolve most her life around them 🤭

The black mare was my previous 14.1hh pony Penny I got from ( the only mare I’ve ever owned, she was super cool! ) and the grey was my first pony Sparky! We bought him from the riding school when it closed down and this was my 4th year with him, he was certainly a tank I remember he was in a Pelham! I was in the local Pony Club and did lots of local NSEA SJ and hunter trials, not so much Eventing here but that certainly started to grow a little later on down the line 🐴 #2016
