Our quick, effective and non-invasive canine s***m analysis is then undertaken in laboratory conditions using state-of-the-art equipment. Once we’ve evaluated the quality and volume of the semen sample, we’ll explain the results and discuss your options with you. WHY USE ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION ?
Common reasons for artificial insemination in breeding programs is the geographic separation of the dam and sire. Sometimes they can be helped with the bitch and a tie achieved. When this isn’t possible, rather than letting him fatigue or overheat himself unduly without success, a skill fully managed collection can help the dog gain confidence and actually train him for a natural breeding career, rather than spoiling him for natural breeding. Semen can be collected by manual stimulation. Most successful semen collection begins with the introduction of a teaser bitch. This will increase the success of the stimulation and result in a higher quality of s***m.An inexperienced stud dog AI dramatically reduces the risk of injury to either dog.
AI reduces the risk of diseases spread such as Herpes virus.
Size incompatibility of the dog and the bitch (i.e. height).
An overly aggressive/dominant bitch due to seasonal changes.

If used correctly, artificial insemination is a useful tool in improving the overall quality of all canine breeds, allowing a wider range of potential breeding partners.
