Avian bird flu has been detected now in Witham, Essex.
Please note all birds should be kept within a covered run and NOT to be Free Ranging this is to stop the wild birds from getting in or sitting on top and pooing ect.
Please place foot dips of defra approved disinfectant outside the coop so you can dip in an out and make sure to wash hand after, if you are concerned at all about this or need to know the symptoms visit www.gov.uk/guidance/bird flu and the information should come up or contact myself (Kate) on 07824487234.

Just to let all customers know that as of tomorrow -Monday 13th December for 5 days our Road Creephedge Lane through to Willow Grove will be Closed for resurfacing please follow diversions as we are open as normal if for any reason you are stopped please say you need to get to Rosehill Hatchery.

Just to give everyone the heads up Avian influenza H5N1 has been found at a premises near North Fambridge, Maldon,Essex this new is on Essex Live 3km and 10km temporary control zones have been put in place. Please keep all poultry in and use foot dips when going in and out of pens make sure no little wild birds can get in and mix extra a good strong poultry disinfect is need.

Dear customers,
Not sure if any of you see breakfast television this morning but avian bird flu was found on two turkey farms in Norfolk last week and unfortunately the lot had to be slaughtered as a result so as of Monday 14th December they are urging all poultry will have to be kept in.
For those of you that are worrying if you have an enclosure that is open unfortunately it will mean sheeting it so no other wild bird poo can drop in and keeping a very close eye on them, put foot dip with disinfectant by the door so you dip in and out and keep everything really clean if you need more info go to gov.com and type in bird flu or give us a ring and we will happily talk you through it.

Customer update 🐓
We are pleased to announce that we will remain open from 5th November for all our services throughout the lockdown.
We ask all our customers to keep browsing to a minimum, respect other people and only buy what you need as we may have queues at times.

We would like to thank all our customers for their support and patience at this incredible time and we will continue to do our very best in providing the best possible service.

Good morning all due to the very high demand on poultry the last four days because of Covid-19 we have sold out of all good laying hens and our next lot won’t be ready for another three weeks yet.
We still have Bantams available and a few brahmas and three Salmon Favarolls left, please continue to follow our page and when new stock comes out I will notify on here.
