As many of our clients know we’ve been utilising this powerful tool to help us objectively monitor many of our cases and it has been very useful for our clients to use when monitoring their horses over time.

Monitoring the response to treatment, picking up slight asymmetries early and aiding our rehabilitation plans post treatment so we can really guide you better on how your horse is moving over time. It’s a winner all round for u and our clients!

If you’re just curious as to how your horse is moving, are concerned they might be lame or you’re wishing to monitor their rehab closely then our remote service can certainly fill that gap in between veterinary visits 😊

Happy world veterinary day 🥳
Our amazing team at Clarendon have been super busy this week. Firstly with Kissing Spine surgery performed by the amazing team The Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and Lauren Hickson at our on site surgical facilities. We’ve also had a few in depth dental extractions for Dani and Vicky, and Gastroscopes along with a mare due to foal, all were treated at the clinic. A super busy time. Have a super weekend. Although Dani is on call over the weekend should any client need her assistance

Shockwave treatment - what can we use it for?

This is a great tool for the reduction of pain in those with chronic injuries or other more sudden onset conditions.

Some of the key conditions we treat are listed below:

- Suspensory ligament injuries
- Splint bone injuries
- Bucked shins
- Impinging spinous processes (kissing spine)
- muscular back pain
- Sacro-iliac joint region pain

This is great tool which can be utilised alongside a comprehensive rehab plan. We’re using it here to relieve pain associated with a proximal suspensory ligament injury.

If you’d like some advice on whether it may be helpful for your horse then do get in touch and we’d be happy to help!
