We are H.J.Warder Ltd. - specialist pullet rearers based in Pleshey, Chelmsford. This is the place to buy healthy, fully vaccinated chickens in Essex. At only £8 each we have the lowest priced hens around. We are a friendly family firm that have been in business for over 70 years. Our Point-of-Lay Pullets are litter reared and we also supply Layers meal, pellets and wheat straw bales - please see

We have some Dekalb White pullets available over Easter! They are a hybrid, lay white eggs, £15 each, fully vaccinated, and have been reared with our Bovans Brown pullets.
As we don't have many they are limited to a maximum of 10 birds per customer. If anyone has reserved brown chickens for April and want to change some to white please get in touch.
After this Easter batch our next Dekalb Whites will be available at the end of July, none available in June.
