Bounce Dogs are delighted to advise that we are now open from 6.00am to 10.00pm 7 days a week.

This will allow dogs, and their owners, to have fun before and after work, and in the rare event of a heatwave, visits can be made in the cool of the morning/evening.

The latest improvement we at Bounce have made is to replace the rather rickety picnic table/seat with a new round heavy duty table with seats for up to 8 people, so plenty of room to socialise whilst your best friends are having fun in our secure field. As well as this we have jumps, a weave and a tunnel for dogs that enjoy some simple agility challenges.

Dear Customers and Friends,

It is well past time that I introduce myself as the person that has taken over Bounce Dogs from Charlotte, who had done a wonderful job in establishing this very popular dog walking field.

Myself, Colin, and my partner Suzanne, live near to the Bounce Dogs site, and visitors over the last few months will have seen the improvements we have made, including a large field shelter to allow protection from inclement weather (very useful recently!), as well as new agility equipment, consisting of 4 jumps, a weave and a 5 metre tunnel.

We hope that you and your dog companions will continue to enjoy your visits to Bounce Dogs - you will also be pleased to know that we have been able to hold prices unchanged, and of course we offer a full 60 minutes booking, with a 15 minute changeover period to ensure dogs do not meet each other when arriving/leaving.

Bounce Dogs will be under new ownership from 01/01/2024.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all of loyal customers over the last 5 years since we opened in 2018.

The field will continue to run as it is for the time being, and the new owners will be in contact in due course.

XL Bulldog (Banned Breed) Update

Unfortunately due to the updated Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 we are no longer able to accommodate XL Bully’s even if you have a Certificate of Exemption for your dog.

Our field does not meet the specifications to allow any dogs that come under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 to be off lead and unmuzzled (not meeting the legal conditions of having the dog in a public place) at our site.

If your dog does not meet the Banned Breed Standard then you are still more that welcome to attend our facility, please see below for more details on Breed Standards.

The government has created its own specifications (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/official-definition-of-an-xl-bully-dog/official-definition-of-an-xl-bully-dog) for the breed, which includes the size of their head and muzzle, their build, and the height and length of their body. Breed name, genetics and parentage are not considered.
The government has confirmed that the minimum height specified is a necessary requirement to meet the XL bully type specifications. The height should be measured from the ground to your dog’s withers (the top of the shoulders). For adult males this is from 20 inches, and females from 19 inches. If your dog does not meet this height requirement, they will not be typed as an XL bully.
