*UPDATE*
Appointments- We are currently working through the list of appointment requests, so if you have called, please bear with us. Our new system transfers all voicemails into our email mailbox and we are working through our emails in date order.
We have noticed that we are calling many of our customers but they are not answering, so ideally if you call please leave an email address so we can correspond with you. Please do not attempt to message us for an appointment via facebook or messenger. As an alternative, please email our mailbox direct:

Pricing- We have had a price increase of £5-£10. Our grooms are completed by a student, who will be working towards their qualification, therefore they may not always be to the standard of a professionally qualified groomer but our prices are subsidised.

**UPDATES**

Days: We are not offering any appointments on Fridays until further notice. This will be reviewed in the new year. Monday to Thursdays only.

Appointments: If you have messaged / phoned for an appointment, please bear with us. As you might imagine, we’ve been inundated with requests that we are gradually working through, whilst also preparing everything with our new students. It’s a hectic time of year! We have a very limited amount of appointments available in late September, and going forward during term times. If you are in urgent need of a groomer please contact us and ask for advice.

Changes: If you message with a specific date request please also leave an email address. We have ‘gone digital’ with appointments, so if booked, you’ll get an email detailing everything.

Matted dogs: If your dog has several tight knots please seek the assistance of a qualified, professional dog groomer before contacting us. Our students have a limited amount of time to learn the art of styling a coat and clipping off is not the best use of their learning time. If you need advice on such, please contact us accordingly.

Hi everyone, ARU Writtle dog grooming department are in need of dogs with a particular coat type in order for our students to complete their exams. They cannot complete their assessments without the generous help of people like you and your beloved dogs.

The students have to groom dogs with different coat types to show breadth of knowledge and skill in all areas of grooming. Can you help? Do you know anyone with the following breeds?
Lhaso Apso
Shihtzu
Maltese Terrier
Yorkshire Terrier
Tibetan Terrier

We are looking for breeds that have a naturally straight or slightly wavy coat. These dogs will have a FREE groom by our students if they are used for assessments, but they must be suitable assessment dogs. Do your dog/s fit the following criteria?
• Fit and healthy
• A reasonably thick coat
• Coat must be in good condition with no matting
• Naturally straight or slightly wavy coat
• Available to drop off at 8.45am in Writtle - Collection will be at 12.45
