It’s so lovely supporting others 🧡💚
It’s nearly 3 weeks since I launched devonspringtails.co.uk
…honestly didn’t think anyone would even look at it, let alone buy anything. But here we are — averaging about a sale a day. That might not sound like much, but to me, it’s huge. So thank you.
Massive shoutout to a few people who’ve genuinely helped and supported me:
🕷️ Shona from Bug Print — probably the only person I briefly told I was going to try doing this. She’s been supportive from the start, gave me my favourite jumper (Webby Debbie the big baddie), and designs more logos, stickers, and business cards for the invert community than anyone I know. She also did my original orange springtail stickers — the ones that were weirdly famous on Google… until eBay decided to end the party. (shhhhh)
🪲 Lucy (and Charlie) from Spink-Bugs & Bits - New — Lucy is basically the queen of sharing and supporting everyone. Genuinely kind, always boosts others, and a reminder that yes, it is nice to be nice. I’m not quite there yet — I lurk in the shadows — but still, appreciated.
🕸️ Sarah from The Phidippus palace — likes every post, even when it’s a bit lame, and has supported me way back since the eBay days. She’s brilliant with spiders and (let’s be honest) wayyy better than me at mantids now too.
There's definitely a few others to mention and its so lovely that people I barely know have shared my page ... I will be returning the favour. X
Thanks to anyone who’s bought something, shared something, or just had a nose at the site. It means a lot.
