🔥 Breaking News: The Walkies Union Has Gone on Strike! 🔥

The weather next week is looking absolutely ridiculous... so before anyone asks... NO WALKIES! 😂🐾

Instead, your pampered pooches will be enjoying the luxury package:

💦 Garden zoomies (weather permitting!)
🦴 Snacks... because obviously.
🥤 Fresh water top-ups.
🥰 A ridiculous amount of fuss and cuddles.
🌳 Plenty of shady chill time.

Look, I know some of them will give me the face and act like I've ruined their entire week. They'll survive. 🤣 I will be messaging everyone over the weekend!

Hot pavements burn paws, dogs overheat much faster than we do, and I'd much rather have a grumpy dog than one with heatstroke.

So next week we're swapping kilometres for cuddles and adventures for air-con (or a shady garden!).

Stay cool, keep those paws off the pavement, and remember... if it's too hot for you to walk barefoot, it's too hot for them too. ☀️🐶❤️

A trip to the secure field was exactly what these two needed. 💚🐾

Lots of running, lots of sniffing, and enough zoomies to power the whole of Chelmsford. 😂

Nothing beats watching dogs enjoy their freedom, exploring safely and making the most of every minute.

Judging by the happy faces (and tongues!), I'd say this adventure was a huge success. ❤️

Found the world's most exciting stick today... lasted approximately 12 seconds. 💀🌳

Now every time I walk near the remains, he launches into another round of zoomies like he's just discovered treasure all over again.

I've walked this handsome boy since he was a tiny pup, and watching him grow into the sweetest, happiest giant has been such a privilege. ❤️🐾

It's the simple things in life.

Still smiling about this beautiful day. 🤍

Being a dog chaperone at a wedding is such a privilege. To play a small part in a couple's love story and help include their furry family members is something I'll never take for granted.

Charlie and Sam are genuinely one of the kindest, cutest and most gorgeous couples, and every little detail of their special day was absolutely perfect.

And then there was Goose... the most adorable ring bearer who soaked up every second of the attention! His favourite activities included trying to drag me into the lake, hoovering up any food that was dropped after dinner, and making himself comfortable on Mum's wedding dress. 🤣

My official role for the day? Professional dribble catcher. 😅 Goose is a 10/10 but... he DROOLS. And when I say drools, I mean if I'd left him to it, we'd all have been swimming down the aisle! So my trusty dribble cloth was always at the ready before he lovingly shared it with the guests. 😂

These beautiful photos perfectly capture just how loved Goose is and just how much he loved being part of such an incredible day.

Yesterday, I had the absolute pleasure of being Goose's fairy dog date as he celebrated one of the biggest days of his mum and dad's lives. 🩷🐾

The day started with getting ready at the lodge with Dad before it was time for his most important responsibility... Ring Bearer! 💍 And he took his role very seriously.

After the ceremony, Goose enjoyed meeting and greeting all the guests, posing for lots of gorgeous photos and then heading off for a well-earned walk. While I grabbed some lunch, he decided a nap was the best use of his time (and honestly, I couldn't argue with that 😴).

Once he'd had his dinner, it was back to the celebrations to welcome the evening guests, watch Mum and Dad cut the cake and even be part of their first dance. 🥹

My favourite moment of the entire day? Every single time Goose spotted his mum, Charlie, he made a beeline for her dress and happily lay on it like it was his own personal blanket. It was the sweetest thing and definitely his favourite place to be all day. ❤️

I'm sure there's pictures featuring Goose completely mesmerised by the lake he was absolutely convinced he should be allowed to jump into! 😂🌊

Congratulations again to the happy couple, and thank you for letting me be part of such a special day. More photos to follow! 🐶💒

🐾 Stop rushing your dog's sniff time! 🐾

We often think a good walk is all about distance... but for our dogs, it's so much more than that.

Sniffing is how they explore the world. Every scent tells a story, and giving them the chance to stop and sniff provides incredible mental stimulation. In fact, a good "sniffari" can be just as tiring and fulfilling as a long physical walk.

So next time you're out, slow the pace, let them investigate that interesting patch of grass, and remember – they're not wasting time, they're using their brain.

A mentally enriched dog is often a happier, calmer dog. 💛🐶
