🌞 HEATWAVE ALERT FOR DOG OWNERS! 🐾
With the temperatures soaring, it's crucial to remember that our furry friends are much more susceptible to heatstroke than we are. Their natural cooling system isn't as efficient, and hot pavements can burn their sensitive paws in seconds.

Signs of heatstroke in dogs can include:
* Excessive panting
* Lethargy or weakness
* Drooling
* Bright red gums or tongue
* Vomiting or diarrhoea
* Dizziness or staggering
* In severe cases, collapse or seizures
If you notice any of these signs, move your dog to a cool, shaded area immediately, offer small amounts of cool water, and seek veterinary advice!Don't worry about them missing out on exercise! There are plenty of ways to keep them happy and stimulated indoors.

I'm incredibly grateful for all the love and support you've shown me – it means I'm often booked up faster than you can say "walkies!" While i always do our best to accommodate, popular slots, especially around lunch and early afternoon, tend to fill up quickest. Think of it like trying to get the last squeaky toy in the bin – you gotta be quick!

So, How Can You Snag a Spot for Your Best Friend?
* Book Ahead (It's a Game-Changer!): If you know you'll need our services, especially for regular walks, booking in advance is your best bet. This guarantees your pup gets their much-needed outing and you get peace of mind.
* Flexibility is pup-tastic: If your schedule allows for a little wiggle room, let me know! Sometimes, an earlier morning sniff-a-thon or a later evening stroll can be just the ticket.
* Give Us a Call! Even if it feels last-minute, don't hesitate to reach out! Sometimes, cancellations happen, or i might have a gap pop up that's perfect for your pup. You never know until you ask!

In the words of this handsome boy...

"Oh. My. Dog! You are NOT going to believe the day I've had. So, I was out on my walk, just sniffin' around, you know, minding my own business, when BAM! There it was. The most magnificent, most perfect, most absolutely GORGEOUS stick I have ever laid my eyes on.
It wasn't too big, not too small. Not too heavy, not too light. It had just the right amount of knobbly bits for a good chew,😋. I picked it up, gave it a good shake (tail wagging like crazy, obviously), and knew right then and there: this was the one. This stick was coming home with me."

He's the same on every walk! It's his one and only mission to find a stick worthy of carrying home. 😂

Do you believe you can't hire a dog walker because your dog is reactive? Not the case over here! I offer solo walks which means it's just me and your dog! This means they get the space they need to enjoy the walk! This means the tools you have in place can be used as normal and secure dog fields are an option too!

If you have a reactive dog – one who barks, lunges, or gets overly excited on leash around other dogs, people, or things – please know you are not alone, and there's absolutely no shame in it.
It can be tough navigating walks and feeling like everyone is judging you and your pup. Trust me, I get it! But reactivity isn't a sign of a "bad" dog or a "bad" owner. Often, it stems from fear, anxiety, frustration, or over-arousal.

We're all just trying our best to help our dogs feel safe and comfortable in a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming to them.

So, if you see someone with a dog who's reacting, please offer a smile instead of a stare. And to my reactive dog parents: keep doing what you're doing! Every step you take to understand and support your dog is a step in the right direction.
