Millie( white Schnauzer)
Came for her 2nd Visit to the Salon today.
Shes such a sweetheart💗
Not a traditional Schnauzer cut, at her owners request...So.. ive softened her face by using thinners and removing the beard.
She now looks more like a Westie with floppy ears😘

So this pretty baby came for her 2nd bath & pamper🛁🐾♥️ today.
The hairdryer was a bit scarey for her.. but at just under 1yr old she was very brave bless her.
Lexi had lots of happy zoomies around the garden once the pruning had stopped😆😊💞

Meet the delightful Willow😍
This little darling is a Wire haired Dachshund.
She was a star✨ for her 1st visit today.
Shame she has been previously clipped by other groomers so i was unable to handstrip her coat... but...She still looks beautiful!!
Plus her cute cuddles where a massive bonus for me 😁😉

This little poppet was very happy to have her 1st big girl groom💗
Molly behaved beautifully in the bath. She enjoyed her blowdry and her all over scissor cut.
Her mummy Lorraine wasnt quite ready for her 1st clipper cut. 🐾Puppyfied for a bit little bit longer🐾😍

Today Rupert had his 1st full 2hr groom session with me. Bath,blowdry, then completely hand scissored and thinned out all over to maintain his puppy look for a little bit longer😊 (and to help cool him off throughout this hot weather).
He doesn't look to fazed by the process does he😴🐾
Proof that the 8weeks of 20min puppy intros has done its job. I will know for sure if hes happy to do it all over again in 6wks time if he comes happily into the salon?🤞 (or not?)
No finished pics to show today because he was to eager to get out in the garden.
The bubba-pup did good today bless him😘😍 x

🐾Percy came for his short back&sides this morning.
He is modelling his new shades😎Because he has had a lens removed from one of his eyes the vet recommends to wear sunnies for protection.
Hes rocking the look 🤘😂😘

Sporty Boss,
leave me at home. It's not nice for me to run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. And so I run beside you, stand still if I must. And feel my paws burn. I look at you for a moment, but you don't understand. Because in 5 minutes, we will be at the cool puddle, right? But those 5 little minutes can now just be fatal for me. Because I sweat through my legs, and this heat just can't reach it. I cook from the inside, but I keep going.....
And so I end up on the asphalt. In the heat and in the sun. With my tongue out of my mouth and my eyes blinking in the sun. My legs burned, my tongue dry and my head pounding from the heat that my body can't get rid of....
Don't brand the paw print!
Let your dog enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of water, a place in the shade. And best of all, preferably a cool patch of grass.
All dogs will jump up for their walk when they hear their lead because they trust you and have their routine. When its hot, only take them out between 7am-8am morn or after 9pm and shorten their time out. Change your routine to suit them. Dont risk harming your dog for a walk in the sun in your shorts and flipflops.
