My name is Helen Fentem-Jones, I am a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Veterinary Physiotherapy, and a Category A member of ACPAT. I qualified from Kings College London in 2004 with my Masters in human Physiotherapy and then proceeded to ‘practice on people’ for 2 years before starting my training as a Veterinary Physiotherapist. I qualified with my Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy in
2009 and proceeded from there to specialise purely as a Small Animal Veterinary Physiotherapist in a referral centre where I stayed for over 7 years until recently deciding to do this for myself. Over the past few years I have had extensive experience dealing with all sort of cases from the routine through to the complex orthopaedic and neurological issues, from top athletic dogs to the elderly companion animals. I relish the challenge of a complex patient, and part of the joy of my job is meeting all the different patients, as all our four legged (and occasionally three legged) friends have such big and unique personalities. I love dealing with cats and dogs and their owners, and I gain a lot of pleasure from helping as much as I can to regain good quality of life..
