Yesterday having walked dogs i took myself into Bude for lunch and a mooch. I had a lovely bite to eat at Lifes a beach cafe overlooking the beach. I did some shopping in the RNLI shop which I always try to do when I'm down here.
Today I took my tent down ready for my departure tomorrow. It was bone dry woo hoo!😁 My bed is now in Rusty's room and proved very comfy for General. Betsy quite liked General's bed which was in tent but he'd not used at all this week preferring the settee. As you can see from pics he was v comfy! We had our last supper at Port William, Trebarwith Strand which was excellent! Had a fab week with great weather, thankfully not as hot as at home.

Had a relatively lazy day today as Niki and Jackie were working. I walked dogs on site then took myself off to Boscastle Farm Shop for a delicious lunch. Came back and read some of my book then took the hounds up to St Matrianas for a walk. You can see Tintagel Castle and also the Camelot Castle hotel . Sorry for so many hound pics but I was loving the shadows. Had some rain this morning and it was overcast but suddenly the skies cleared for a beautifully warm afternoon and of course amazing sunsets. General, not content with hogging the sofa is keeping his options open too!😁

Drove over in direction of St Austell today. Had a lovely lunch at Trevithick and tray cafe and farm shop before setting off for a 2.5 mile walk along the disused railway to Pentewen. It was a lovely walk. The flowers were absolutely magnificent and prolific, the pics don't do them justice. Had a coffee at The Cove then walked all the way back. We are all pooped tonight (20000+ steps). The only person used to walking that far in one go is Niki and Betsy who probably did twice the distance as she just loves chasing a stick.

Lovely hot sunny day today. We started off at St Kews farmshop and cafe for a delicious breakfast. We then went on to Harlyn beach where Niki tried to teach General to tango but instead he got in a tangle! He would have loved to be off lead for a run in the sand but we did have a paddle. The day was finished with another super sunset!

General has been for a paddle in the River Mole this week, met some horses and also been to dip his toes in the sea last night. Not sure whether he liked the sea or not🤔We've mainly been walking very early and very late due to the heat! He's coping quite well and has air con at home to keep him cool 😎
