A very painful post to make but yesterday morning we lost Sweet Pea 💔

Sweet pea was 4 years old and had struggled with egg problems, when she was on a farm they made her lay larger eggs than she was able to lay safely 😞

Which meant for the last year and a half we’ve been taking her to the vets to get her an implant to stop all eggs to keep her safe and healthy. She was booked into have another one soon but unfortunately the vets were fully booked for the next two weeks so i was monitoring her and managing her pain with metacam. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for poor sweet pea and she passed peacefully next to her best friend overnight. I do feel like i let her down and that i didn’t do enough but my wonderful mum and best friend ashleigh helped me see that i was doing everything for her and that it was out of my control.

She was tired and in pain she wanted to go that was her decision and i will accept that over the next couple of days but right now it really hurts that she’s not here anymore 💔

I might be a bit of a crying mess for a little bit so doggies will get lots of soggy hugs from me but i love that they’ll always know i need cheering up can’t wait to see all of them to help me feel better ❤️‍🩹

Alvie and riku were the bestest boys this week. We have been seeing more and more tractors on our walks and they’ve been handling them like champs!

Most of the tractors have either been in fields behind us or coming towards us but either way very scary and loud but they both carried on as it there was nothing there. They’ve done me proud 🥰

Meet our disabled chicken Summer 🙂

We rehomed summer nearly a year ago and she’s come on leaps and bounds in that time! She spends most mornings sunning herself or in the field with her best friend eating some grass 💕

Summer is one of 16 disabled chickens we have rehomed but summer & jasmine are our only chickens that cannot walk at all without help so she and jas share the wheelchair 💔

We are incredibly grateful for the wheelchair and so glad we found one that was affordable for our girls to give them their freedom 🥰

Happy friday from summer and jasmine, they inspire me everyday to be brave and strong like them ☺️

Tonight we lost Margaret & Lily 💔

Margaret was attacked the night around two weeks ago and had been doing so well but passed this evening

Lily had lost all her friends we rehomed with her and i think she’d lost the will to carry on without them as she’d stopped eating around 2 weeks ago and id been syringe feeding her but she’d made her decision 💔

My job gets 100% more amazing when the weather is like it is at the moment, Alvie & Riku’s walks have been very rainy most of 2025 so far but in the last month or so we’ve had glorious sunshine every walk and they love it 🙌🏻

With the loss of little frizzle this week some of my chickens that were in her coop just wanted to have some more cuddles this week especially lily as they were really good friends bless her ❤️‍🩹

Didn’t get any photos of Fly and Zaz this week only videos but i can’t upload videos and photos apparently…weird! They had fun hooning around the fields with their sticks and bringing me bigger and bigger ones each time i was in stitches waiting for my next stick 🤣

Lucky has been very attentive this week as losing frizzle really hurt and i’ve been very tearful at home and he’s noticed and slept with me every night to make sure i’m okay bless his heart 🥰

She was my favourite chicken as she had such a personality and she made me laugh so much, i’ll miss her more than anything 🥹

Happiest of birthdays to three special people today 🙌🏻

My first regular dog walking and holiday cover customer - Miss Zazzle!! 🎈 She is 4 today gave her a big hug and an extra treat ❤️

My bluebell chicken bell is 1 today she’s not a baby anymore 🥹 gave her lots of cuddles and sang to her which she was not impressed by as she’s in her teenage ‘leave me alone mum’ phase 🤣

And my grandpas heavenly birthday he’d be 87 today bless him feels weird not to be buying a card and meeting up with him 💔 Miss you Grandpa hope nans making you laugh up there 💕
