ā˜€ļøšŸ¾ Keeping Dogs Cool This Summer šŸ¾ā˜€ļø

As temperatures rise, it's important to help our dogs stay safe, comfortable and happy.

šŸ’§ Always provide fresh, cool water
šŸŒ³ Seek out shade and avoid the hottest parts of the day
šŸš¶ Walk early in the morning or later in the evening
šŸ§Š Offer frozen dog-safe treats and enrichment
šŸ’¦ Enjoy paddling pools, sprinklers and water games
šŸš— Never leave a dog in a parked car ā€“ even for a few minutes

Watch for signs of overheating:
āš ļø Excessive panting
āš ļø Drooling
āš ļø Lethargy
āš ļø Restlessness
āš ļø Vomiting

If you're concerned your dog may be overheating, move them to a cool area and contact your vet.
