🌞 So next week is going to be a warm one!
Whilst a cooling bath can relieve a warm dog and be quite the relief on a hot day, here’s my policy regarding warm weather grooms;
1. I will not compromise on safety!
2. The trailer is open vented; even with the door closed, it does not get hot like a van.
3. Each groom is risk assessed, this includes, breed, behaviour, coat type and likely length of appointment.
4. I’ll take action to minimise heat including fans, cool water and limited drying.
5. My dryer blows cool until it mechanically heats up. At this point I will stop if your dog or I are too warm. Your dog may be returned slightly damp (not wet).
6. I’ll be monitoring the weather and may need to reschedule appointments.
