Little & Large 🐾

Sometimes the sweetest friendships are the ones you least expect 🤍

Bernie met Darcy, my own dog, this week and they’ve absolutely loved each other’s company!

As a young Bernedoodle, Bernie is naturally very bouncy and playful, but it was lovely to see how quickly he adapted around Darcy. Within minutes of meeting her, he understood that she was much smaller than him and became so calm and gentle in her presence 🤩

And Darcy? She’ll happily make friends with any dog, no matter their shape or breed! She certainly doesn’t let her size hold her back 😝

A perfect little example of how dogs can adapt their behaviour and communication depending on who they’re interacting with🤍

A little update on our pet sitting availability!

📅 2026 — FULLY BOOKED
Thank you so much to everyone who has booked with us. We’re now fully booked for pet sitting for the remainder of 2026.

📅 2027 — CURRENT CLIENTS ONLY
Due to the extremely limited availability we have for pet sitting next year, 2027 dates will initially be available exclusively to our existing clients.
This is to ensure our current clients have the opportunity to secure their preferred dates before we consider opening any remaining availability to new clients.

Towards the end of 2026, if we have any dates still available, we will open these up to new clients.

We’ve had a really positive few weeks, with lots of new introductions and some fantastic progress from our newer clients.

Last week, Onyx joined his first social group walk alongside Mia, Amber and Reggie — and he did brilliantly! 🤩

The session focused on encouraging positive interactions within the group, developing reliable recall, and establishing the foundations for calm, structured walks.

Building these skills in a controlled environment helps to develop confidence, communication and good social behaviours, setting everyone up for more enjoyable and successful group walks moving forward 🐾

Stanley always manages to find himself in the funniest, most awkward positions just to get a belly rub 🥹

The bond I build with your pets is something I'll never take for granted. These little moments mean so much to me.

I've been looking after Ollie and Stanley for over a year now, and every week I get to see the excitement and happiness on their faces when I arrive. Watching that trust and connection grow is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and it's something I'll always cherish.

Is your dog still full of energy after a long walk?

Many owners think a longer walk is the answer, but physical exercise is only part of keeping your dog happy and fulfilled.

During our recent stay with Andy & Rosie, every meal became an enrichment activity. From treat balls to rolled-up towels, the dogs had to sniff, think and problem-solve for their dinner. Some caught on quicker than others... you can definitely tell Darcy is used to our enrichment games! 🙈

Mental stimulation through sniffing, training, enrichment and problem-solving can be just as rewarding as physical exercise, helping to satisfy your dog's natural instincts.

That's why, during my walks and pet sits, I don't just focus on exercise. I include enrichment, scent work, engagement and positive training to keep both minds and bodies active.

Meet Onyx 🖤

Today was Onyx's very first training walk with us, and he was an absolute superstar! 🤩

I met with Onyx's owner last week to chat about the areas we'd like to focus on. Before he joins our group walks, we'll be working on building his engagement and focus during walks, as well as giving him a little more time to mature.

He's already a big lad, but would you believe he's only 4½ months old? 🐾

Almost got a perfect shot, Reggie was too occupied trying to grin as wide as Bella 😝

After slow & positive introductions at the beginning, these four have become inseparable out on walks. They all have their own unique quirks & little habits when out together, but they all compliment each other perfectly 🤍
