2025 walkies – completed! ✨

What an amazing year we’ve had at Heel and Hike, spending time with these gorgeous pups every single day, rain or shine. It truly is the best job in the world!

Thank you to all my incredible clients and their furry friends for your continued support throughout the year.

This year has been especially special as we’ve made some wonderful friends along the way — Amy from A J Brown dog walking, Danni from Danni's Diddy Dogs, Serene from Canine Care and Laura from Patter of Paws. The dog-walking community really is something special.

A huge thank you as well to my lovely clients for all the thoughtful cards and Christmas gifts — I feel truly spoiled!✨

🎃Halloween Safety Tips for Your Pets!🎃

Spooky season is here — but while we enjoy the costumes, sweets, and decorations, our furry friends might find it all a little TOO scary!

Here are a few ways to keep your pets safe and happy this Halloween:

🍫 Keep treats out of reach – Chocolate, raisins, and products containing xylitol are toxic to dogs. Make sure all treats are kept well away from curious pets.

🐶 Mind the costumes – If your pet isn’t comfortable wearing one, don’t force it. If they are okay with it, make sure their outfit fits well and doesn’t restrict movement, breathing, or vision.

🚪 Be cautious with the door – Trick-or-treaters coming and going can be stressful for pets, and its an escape risk! Keep them safely in another room or use a stair gate.

🎃🕸 Watch the decorations – Candles, fake cobwebs, and other small decorations can all be dangerous if chewed or knocked over.

🎆 Noise and lights – Loud noises and flashing lights can be frightening. Create a quiet, comfy space where your pet can relax away from the action.
