🐾Walk & Train - Tux🐾

Tux used to pulled like a train on a flat collar and flexi lead. Fast forward to today, and he's walking on a loose lead with regular check-ins and choosing to engage with his handler rather than charging ahead!
One of the biggest reasons for his success is the hard work his owners have put in. Consistency is key when it comes to dog training, and their dedication really shines through in Tux's progress.

Loose lead walking isn't just about stopping a dog from pulling — it's about teaching them that staying connected with you is rewarding.

Building engagement, rewarding good decisions and allowing your dog to make the right choices creates calm, enjoyable walks for both dog and owner!💙

🐾Walk & Train - Archer🐾

Archer has been working so hard during his Walk & Train sessions!

We've been focusing on loose lead walking, building engagement, reducing demand barking, and improving his door threshold manners — and the progress has been fantastic!

His loose lead walking is coming along really nicely, his demand barking when given a simple cue has reduced, and he's becoming much calmer and more patient at doorways.

Recently, we've been introducing him to the 'art of doing nothing' — learning to slow down, relax, and simply take in the environment without becoming overstimulated.

Training isn't about perfection overnight — it's about building clear communication, consistency, and confidence. Archer and his owners have put in the work, and it's really starting to show.

Keep it up, Archer!🐶

🐾Walk & Train – Honey🐾

Honey had a walk and train session to focus on loose lead walking and engagement - and what a difference one session made!🌟

Like many excitable pups, Honey loved to race ahead on walks (all 5kg of her!😂). By focusing on engagement, she quickly learnt that paying attention to her handler is much more rewarding.

She's come on leaps and bounds already, and her owners are continuing the training on their walks. Consistency is key!

Well done, Honey! We can't wait to see your continued progress!💛

🐾Walk & Train🐾

Doris was struggling to walk even a short distance without barking at every person, dog and movement around her. Rather than simply trying to stop the barking, we focused on the root of the behaviour.

By building engagement and teaching Doris that checking in with her handler is more rewarding than reacting to the environment, we gradually saw huge improvements. As her focus on me increased, her lead walking naturally became calmer, and she was able to process distractions without feeling the need to bark.

After just a few sessions, Doris was walking with much more confidence, staying engaged for longer and making better choices around everyday distractions.

Reactive behaviour isn't about being "naughty" — it's often the result of excitement, frustration, uncertainty or habit. By using reward-based training, building trust and working at your dog's pace, we can help them feel calmer and more confident out on walks.

Every dog deserves to enjoy their walks, and every owner deserves to enjoy walking them❤️
