Another happy customer busting some moves in the dressage boards.

Cloud was clipped out fully with a medium blade and legs blended to remove the lines but keep the natural feather, finishing off the tidy up with a mane pull.

This week has seen every season of the year and its only Thursday - I think its fair to say winter 2025 has hit, Im very lucky to have the facilities that we do, rotating between concrete lanes and open sheds/ yards that lets the oldies and babies stretch there legs. Matilda is now haltered and leading, and about to be weaned, and ofc James is over seeing proceedings and making sure to keep me right.

Louis is a regular to my page - His owner Lauren is a long standing customer of IGS, Last year louis had a troublesome skin issue that we couldn’t get to the bottom off, since I have clipped him his skin has always been a little dry however there was more to this than dryness or sweat rash, I mentioned to Lauren about any changes with his routine / clean saddle pads changes to grooming products or feed, we talked about proteins and alfa intolerance so she removed it and put him back on his normal chaff - it got a little better but not massively - she called the vet in the end and got a intolerance test done to find out what was causing the horrible bumps and scarring. Turned out that in fact it was the alfa causing the skin issues and that the “chaff” she had been feeding included it. Anyway fast forward 6 months look at him now, healthy skin repairing from the outside in with the help and support from Connolly's RED MILLS Northern Ireland. He is a much happier and healthier boy. Shining from the inside out.

Your horses coat will tell you when there is something not quite right, dull, dry, wirey, bumpy skin is not normal in a healthy horse.

Full clip with 1/2 head and blended legs and tail pull ready for the winter season ahead
