Dog Tyred Doggy Daycare – Kilroot, Carrickfergus

Are you passionate about dogs and confident handling a variety of breeds and personalities? We're looking for a Part-Time Doggy Daycare Assistant (18+) to join Dog Tyred Doggy Daycare.

What We're Looking For:

✅ Aged 18 or over
✅ Reliable, trustworthy and mature
✅ Flexible with working hours
✅ Able to work independently using your own initiative
✅ Able to work well as part of a group when required
✅ Confident handling multiple dogs at once
✅ Previous experience with dogs is essential
✅ Comfortable working in all weather conditions and maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Your Role Will Include:

🐶 Supervising and interacting with groups of dogs
🐶 Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in our care
🐶 Cleaning and maintaining daycare areas
🐶 Assisting with feeding, enrichment activities and daily routines
🐶 Working independently and taking responsibility for daily tasks

So… we’re officially in our new home! 🎉
Well… technically 😂

There’s still plenty of work needing done, which some of you probably noticed at drop off this morning. A few delays and bits have been out of our hands, but we’re getting there slowly but surely!

The important stuff is all finished — the arenas are ready to go 🐶💨 — so most of what’s left is cosmetic work… plus our brand new outdoor area which we are VERY excited about 👀

The move happened fast and has definitely been a bit chaotic, but it’s going to be so worth it in the end.

We really appreciate all the support, patience and encouragement from you all during the madness ❤️

The long-awaited video directions to our new daycare home are finally here! 🐾🚗

You can drive right down to the doors… HOWEVER 👀

It’s a bit of a tight squeeze 🚛🚛
So unless you’re arriving in a clown car 🤡🚗 or a Mini with the mirrors folded in, we’d probably recommend parking sensibly and taking a short stroll instead 😂

And if you do attempt the mission… it’s entirely at your own risk 👀🤣

So unless you’re arriving in a clown car 🤡🚗 or a Mini with the mirrors folded in, we’d recommend parking by the solar panels and taking the short stroll down instead 😂

And if you do attempt the mission… it’s entirely at your own risk! Neither us, our neighbours, or the park itself have any responsibility...
