Kanine Konnections offers hands-on and off assessment and treatment of soft tissue injury in dogs as well as the management of long-term orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Clinical Canine Massage is a vet approved complimentary therapy
I take a holistic approach to the treatment of canines suffering from muscular injury, conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia, assessing and treating
the whole body. Clinical canine massage therapy uses Swedish, sports, deep tissue massage alongside myofascial release to release tight sore muscles, removing 'knots' or trigger points, and working with scar tissue that might be restricting movement. This therapy can help to restore and improve mobility, flexibility issues and help improve mood changes that you may be seeing in your dog, whether that has come on suddenly or been there for a while, where nothing dramatic happened. It provides a natural form of pain relief, helping to improve mental wellbeing and promoting a calm and relaxed state through the release of tension and stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system. I aim to get results in between 1 and 3 sessions, and vet consent is mandatory for me to provide treatment.
