Kanine Konnections - Clinical Canine Massage An integrated approach to managing soft tissue injury and pain management in dogs
(1)

Kanine Konnections offers hands-on and off assessment and treatment of soft tissue injury in dogs as well as the management of long-term orthopaedic and neurological conditions. Clinical Canine Massage is a vet approved complimentary therapy

I take a holistic approach to the treatment of canines suffering from muscular injury, conditions such as arthritis and hip dysplasia, assessing and treating

the whole body. Clinical canine massage therapy uses Swedish, sports, deep tissue massage alongside myofascial release to release tight sore muscles, removing 'knots' or trigger points, and working with scar tissue that might be restricting movement. This therapy can help to restore and improve mobility, flexibility issues and help improve mood changes that you may be seeing in your dog, whether that has come on suddenly or been there for a while, where nothing dramatic happened. It provides a natural form of pain relief, helping to improve mental wellbeing and promoting a calm and relaxed state through the release of tension and stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system. I aim to get results in between 1 and 3 sessions, and vet consent is mandatory for me to provide treatment.

News Flash!!

Lovely Angus Council have approved our planning application so Kanine Konnections and Doggie D'Tails will soon be opening on the High Street in Carnoustie.

I would like to expand my doggie photowall so would love it if you could spam this feed with lots of pics of your dogs. Whether I treat them or if you are just thinking about it 😁 or if they are sadly no longer with us, all are welcome.

Now the hard graft starts gutting, building and decorating! We will be having an opening event and I will let you know al the details and how we are getting on as we go!

I was asked a couple of years ago if Duke ever ran. It got me thinking....

Of course he runs 😂 it's taken time and effort, the right meds, thank you Alan at Parkside Veterinary Group , supplements, thank you Dorwest Herbs and of course physical therapies. Thank you Claire at Canine Bodywork Clinic and Kirsty at Aqua Canine Hydrotherapy for Hydrotherapy.
As well as clinical canine massage therapy from Mum, of course. 🥰

Duke is a nearly 9 year old 50Kg lump with hip dysplasia and degenerative joint disease. And as you see, still he can run, play and enjoy life

I have been using Maxxipaws products for a while now after a recommendation from after Ella was diagnosed with degenerative mitral valve disease. She is now 11 and still does not require any medication so I thought quality product from Maxxipaws would also help my clients and happily they agreed that I could stock their premium supplements. I have Maxxicalm, flex, cardio and digest now in stock.

Edit - ssshhhh but they also do cat products!!

When I treat in clinic I usually have some very relaxing music playing. It helps me and my clients slow down, relax and get into the right vibe. It can also ease away some of the stress for everyone involved.
Here's Mr Alfie after his first session. A very chilled boy
