All Touring pitches are hardstanding with 16 amp hook-up inc, many are serviced with a tap & waste - we accept Motorhomes/Caravans/Campervans (Sorry no Tents). Fully heated shower/toilet block inc disabled wetroom and pot wash. Each of the 3 en-suite glamping lodges have their own hot tub and sleep 2 adults (no children) - all bedding, towels, robes are included. All just a short walk to the neare

st pub (The Marton Arms). The nearest shop and coffee shop is Country Harvest just a few minutes walk away. A hail & ride bus service operates from close to the site entrance with services to Kirkby Lonsdale & Settle and villages en-route. We are just half-a-mile from the entrance to the famous Waterfalls Trail and a little further into the Dales village of Ingleton. Lots of walks on the doorstep and with the attractions of Ribblesdale, Kingsdale, Swaledale, Dentdale and even the Lake District available for days out - the site offers an ideal touring base.

Late afternoon, when the temperature had dropped Ella and I took the dogs up Kingsdale then on to Twistleton Scar End. On the way back down the dogs enjoyed cooling off in the river, Long Gill. What a beautiful walk with great views; and the start is just a couple of miles from the site. There was quite a few people coming down from Whernside on mountain bikes, families playing in the river and having a picnic and a few people walking the Waterfalls Trail.

Ella and I blew away the cobwebs earlier today with a short walk up into Kingsdale today with her dogs. Stunning blue sky!

We shall be putting some sheep and lambs outside from the farm building into the fields this weekend too ! A sure sign Spring is coming!

Last week we had a set of Quads which is fairly rare!

We re-open this week for our 12th Season. Pitches are available for this next weekend from 28th February, however the Lodges are fully booked. Standard Pitches are £32 per night and Serviced Pitches are £34 per night for stays up to the 3rd April.

We started lambing time this week, they are all currently inside and as soon as they are stronger they will be in the fields that surround the site.

Many of our guests visit Malham and the attractions there. The drive to Malham via Upper Settle is stunning (around 18 miles). Today we did the lovely 5 miles Malham Circular walk taking in Malham Cove, Gordale Scar and Janets Foss. The walk up the side of the cove ascends up 412 steps with great view from the top from the limestone pavement. We then enjoyed a great lunch and Christmas Shopping Town End Farm Shop. https://www.facebook.com/TownEndFarmShop

We are now getting the site ready and Christmassy for this next Thursday when we re-open for a couple of weeks.

We ventured into Ribblesdale today and did a lovely circular walk from Stainforth taking in Winskill, Catrigg Force and Goat Scar Lane.

The Touring Site is now fully booked for the 29th December. We have a couple of Serviced pitches currently available for the 30th December 3nts. Book Soon!

We close this Sunday 3rd November and reopen for a couple of weeks from the 19th December - 2nd January.
There are still some Touring Pitches available for this weekend. The Lodges are fully booked.
