This is a post that we wish we weren't writing.
It is with a heavy heart that we will be closing our doors.
We will be winding down our stock over the next few months - we will still be getting dry goods and you can still place your regular orders for dog/cat/rabbit food, plus live and frozen reptile food.
It's been an amazing 3 years, we have met many brilliant people - dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, rats, reptiles and a ferret - we thank each and every one of you that has come in and given us your patronage, your time and your friendship.
We've made this decision due to a variety of factors that has seen countless other small business close, we hope you can understand our decision.
We will be continuing with the boarding until December, but will be continuing with home care permanently, plus small animal grooming and all animal nail clipping in your home.

(It wasn't our intention to ignore other local businesses, but we wanted to highlight other places in this post that are going above and beyond for pet welfare when we're not here - not selling rawhide, rabbit museli, and things that aren't RWAF or DEFRA approved, are responsibly sourced, and going above and beyond for the care of animals. There are tons of amazing businesses in Carnforth that deal in other things than pet supplies [of which we could write an exhaustive list], but missing out animal-adjacent things was an oversight, so we've added the lovely people who deal with animals that we recommend to the end of that list.)
