Millie was full of energy today. We had to walk around with her stone from woods.
Keeping it safe in my car door for next time.

Thank you to my other clients and sorry for cancelling at short notice. After loosing my keys for nearly 3 hours but my partner having the spare key (he was in work) so I wasn’t able to use them
I wasn’t able to make it today. I really do appreciate you guys being understanding of my situation.

At Cwn Cymru, the safety and wellbeing of the dogs in our care will always come first. 🐾☀️

With the temperatures being so high over the last few days, we’ve unfortunately had to cancel a number of walks as the heat has made them unsafe for many dogs.

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our clients for being so understanding and supportive — we truly appreciate it.

Dogs whose owners were still working have, of course, still been cared for, but our routine has looked a little different. Instead of full walks, we’ve focused on cuddles, shade, gentle pottering about, keeping cool and hydrated, and even a nice cool car ride. 🚗❄️

Thank you again for trusting us to always put your dogs first. 💛

Last few walks have definitely been a lot warmer.
They’ve all enjoyed, Luna wanted to beat up a couple of spaniels on her walk. Taio just wanted to swim and Millie of course wanted to play in the woods and didn’t want to get out the car when I dropped her home. Louis and Max enjoyed a quiet walk along the river but I forgot to take photos sorry.
Next week is meant to be a scorcher so will see how the weeks goes for the walks.

Last few days of walks has been a mixture of pouring down rain on Monday with Millie, Taio and Louis and Max but they still all enjoyed all be it a bit wet.
Change in the weather to yesterday where is was quite warm. Millie has a guest on her walk Pepsi joined. Millie herded her into the woods so she could go play with her stones

That’s all the walks done for the week now.
Taio, Louis and Max were yesterday but because the weather wasn’t on our side I didn’t take photos with Taio and the boys were not being photogenic except for blurs.
But they all enjoyed their walks despite the ever changing weather climate we were having yesterday.

Luna and Millie enjoyed their walks as well. Luna has been on holiday the last couple of weeks so we haven’t been out for a bit but she was so ecstatic coming out the door with me.
Millie was very adamant she had to go play in the woods. No matter what path we took she kept trying to go there so I gave in. She did what she loves best. Playing with a stone. Got to love the silly personality of each woofer

This week has been a bit chaotic in my life so haven’t had much of a social media presence I’m afraid. But don’t worry your woofers have been enjoying their walks not the best of photos as my phone has been playing up. Millie has found a new tree she likes to pose on.
Louis and Max went to Abergwili Museum for their walk. Haven’t been there in years but still a lovely place to take your dogs too.
Taio has also enjoyed his walk but didn’t get photos this time.

I remembered my phone today! But Millie was rather busy chasing squirrels up trees and playing with stones so not many photos. I’m surprised she stayed still long enough to get these. She was so eager to go on her walk today that it was a bit of a battle getting the harness on her as she just wanted to get into my car
Main thing is she is enjoying 🐾

🐾 Walk Updates 🐾

Yesterday Taio enjoyed his walk, including a paddle in his favourite stream—he’s completely obsessed with it.

He was extremely excitable when I picked him up, so I thought the walk might be a little chaotic, but he settled down quickly and really enjoyed our river walk. He was also a very good boy when two children stopped to talk to us. They wanted to pet him, but he had been working on sitting calmly and focusing on me, which he did really well.

Louis and Max also had their walk around Carmarthen. Louis was happy to head out and, of course, made sure there were plenty of cuddles and kisses along the way.

Sadly I forgot my phone in the car this time, so there are no photos of the boys this week.

🐾 Millie’s Adventures 🐾

Millie enjoyed two walks in a row this week, as her usual Bank Holiday Monday walk was moved to Tuesday instead.

She absolutely loves going out for her walks and gets so excited when she knows I’ve arrived.

Both days she decided that rolling around in the grass was the best part of the walk—doing a big flop and wriggling around on the ground having the time of her life 😄

Safe to say she thoroughly enjoyed herself.

🐾 Client Introduction 🐾

Meet Max and Louis, two lovely new additions to the Cwn Cymru pack.

Max is a Cavapoovchon and Louis is a Cockapoo. Louis was a little nervous when we first met, but as soon as we headed out for our walk he quickly relaxed and decided all he wanted were cwtches and kisses.

They both had great fun on their first walk with me, enjoying a good run around Carmarthen Park. Max especially thought it would be a great idea to try and chase the crows 😄

By the end of the walk both boys had their tongues hanging out—but I think you can probably guess who was the most tired!

It was a lovely first walk getting to know them both.
