Another week has passed, another week of walks done and dusted.
A few less last week due to clients holidays etc
But they all were having a good time. The boys, well let’s just say they had a lot to say on their walks They have trained themselves to load up on the car straight from the house themselves. They are so eager to go I don’t always have a chance to put their leads on.
Millie is not amused but Dinefwr since the cut the grass as now to so short she can’t roll around in the grass very well now
Maybe have to wait a while for it to grow sorry Millie!
We have also had a new woofer join us so watch this space for their introduction.
Well this week we have urgent pet sit for someone in hospital. I’m not really able to do many pet sits due to my own animals but i can make an exception from time to time.
But walks will be changed to accommodate the weather this week so I shall say thank you to everyone for the change of times or days ahead of it.
Make sure the next few days people keep an extra eye on your pets, don’t go walking during the day only early morning or really late. Got to keep our precious pets safe in this life!!

The boys wanted cuddles during their walk on Monday but Saturday let’s say it was impossible to get any photos except blurs.
Millie is doing better on her leg but I think she may have some issues not going to the woods and running around this week so back on the long line for now as her ears didn’t seem to be working properly lately.

💔 In Loving Memory of Luna 💔

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye far too soon to a very special member of the Cwn Cymru Pet Services family.

Beautiful Luna was one of those dogs who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was full of attitude, full of character, and yet had the sweetest, most loving nature. Over the past few months, it has been an absolute privilege to care for her each week, and she quickly became part of our Cwn Cymru family.

Our hearts are broken by the news of her sudden passing. She will be so deeply missed, and her happy little face, cheeky personality, and wagging tail will never be forgotten.

To Luna’s family, there are simply no words that can ease the pain of losing such a beloved companion. Please know that our thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for trusting us to be a small part of Luna’s life—it was an honour to know and care for her.

Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, beautiful Luna. 🌈🐾

You were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. ❤️

I apologise for the late post from last week.
For some reason I thought I had done it, but here is for the last two weeks so photo overloads!!

All of the woofers have enjoyed their walks over the last couple of weeks.
Millie sadly has got a bit of a limp so she’s in slow and steady walks much to her demise. Although today I swear she has eaten a whole jar of sugar with the energy she has.

Some great news about Max, he has been signed off from the vets and is allowed controlled walks but he’s another one who doesn’t like to listen to the vets.

Well what a week again. Please can this sunshine go away. It’s not good for the woofers.
We arranged for late or early walks and some days none at all cos it was too hot too soon.
Thanks to everyone who has been understanding about everything
Here’s to another boiling alive week ahead so will get walks in as early as possible for you all
On a good note Max is on the mend, will be a slow and steady recovery but it is going in the right direction.
Max was rather upset he didn’t get to go for the walk with Louis and tried to come with but for now he is unable to. Louis was a little freaked out going by himself so had plenty of cuddles to ensure he knows it was okay to be out and about by himself.
Luna of course was her busy self and Millie just loving life as well.

Week full of walks. Taio family has gone on holiday for two weeks so i don’t get to see him for a while.
Millie of course has enjoyed all her walk. Today she was in a cuddly selfie mood. We took a pew on the bench for 5 as I got rather warm in the sun.
Luna and I went somewhere different this week up Golden grove way. Lovely calm walk until we had two dogs following us with their owners so she got a little bit crazy.

Louis and Max also had a good time on their walk. I love how crazy they get every time I come to pick them up.
Sadly Max has suffered an injury yesterday and is awaiting for investigations at the vets to see what has happens. So please can everyone keep him your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. ❤️‍🩹

Few less walks this week due to the extreme heat.
Thanks for everyone being so understanding. Their health and welfare must come first.
The walks we did manage to do were of course filled with plenty of cuddles and fun.
Taio well what can I say, now I’ve figured out what lead is best we are having a much more calm and enjoyable walks.
While getting to open field the figure of eight lead works wonders.
Hopefully now we can really work on calm walking around the village so his owner is able to take him out and they haven’t been able to in quite a while.
Millie well what can I say happy go lucky as usual, full of energy and positivity.
The boys, Louis and Max may be a bit nutty but are lovely dogs. I don’t know how but I finally Maher to get somewhat of decent photos of the two of them.

Let’s bring on next week, before the next heat wave.
Closer to the time we’ll see how the weather goes but walks may need to be changed to accommodate the heat

☀️🐾 A Big Thank You During This Week’s Heatwave 🐾☀️

As many of you will have noticed, some walks were adjusted throughout this week’s heatwave to ensure all dogs remained safe and comfortable in the extreme temperatures.

This included earlier walks, shorter outings where appropriate, and pop-in visits as an alternative to walking during the hottest parts of the day.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful clients for your understanding, flexibility and support. Your willingness to accommodate changes at short notice has helped me put the health and welfare of every dog first.

With temperatures soaring, the risks of heatstroke, dehydration and burnt paw pads increase significantly, so it was important to make responsible decisions based on each dog’s individual needs.

🐾 Early walks when temperatures were lower
💧 Plenty of water and cooling breaks
🏡 Pop-in visits where walks weren’t suitable
❤️ Welfare-first decisions for every dog

At Cŵn Cymru Pet Services, your dog’s health and wellbeing will always come before sticking to a schedule.

Thank you again for your continued trust and support — it is greatly appreciated.

Well the week of walks are done. What a mix of weather again. Some
Of these guys had a stunning day walk in sunshine and then the next walk in the pouring rain.
They’ve all enjoyed no matter what
Didn’t get a picture of Luna as they were just blurs as the clouds turned the tap on and we got soaked.
We had a new member of Cwn Cymru this week. Meet poppy the golden retriever cross flat coat retriever. A friend wanted her to go out with some of my pack to try and help with her separation anxiety. She already goes for walks with mine every few weeks with their owner and their other dog. Millie also Louis and Max had an extra walk this week which I think they all were very excited about
