Hi all I'm bringing the Enabler Dogs page out of retirement and have created an Enabler Dogs Training Group for us all to share enrichment ideas especially for people struggling to exercise in the current situation. This is for anyone. You do not need to be disabled but training advice will take various disabilities into acount.

We're working on this trick. Paws up head flat to the bed. We need a non-godly name for it.(It's often called say your prayers) Any ideas?

This trick is usually called say your prayers but they doesn't really fit with our family so I'm looking for another name for it

Percy now has his new collar and it's fantastic.

It has a removable neoprene pad to make it extra comfortable. It's really well made.

Some of the benefits are
With it being so robust the dog can actually wear it lloser though maintain freedom of movement. I feel he's moving better in it than in his harness

The handle stands with gap to the collar making it comfortable and easy to get hold of

The neoprene pad is easily replaceable thanks to a well designed velcro system

The clip is easier to use than a standard dog lead, note this is not a house collar, so being able to easy squeeze the levers as you come in is fantastic and means there's almost no effort to stripping the dog when you get home, with a harness I have to get the dog up onto me or the bed to be able to strip him

This collar is a serious working collar ideal for both scent work and assistance dog work.

Percy's run outs were at least as fast as in a harness, if not faster, he swam, picked up his toy, turned with ease. I feel his movement is freer in this collar than a harness.

A note about Katie. She will work with you every step of the way, want velcro for assistance dog labels adding, no problem, want an extra ring added, no problem. Don't want a handle no problem, want a light weight version, again no problem.

She does 3 widths so if you don't like wide collars she still has one for you, you just need to want top quality kit for your dog, the rest she'll work out with you.
