The aquarium eels are a forever curious yet generally shy group.. unless it’s feeding time🪱

In store now we have the Tyre-track eel (Mastacembelus armatus) and the Barred spiny eel (Macrognathus pancalus)🤩

As the Tyre-track can grow to 90cm they would require a larger aquarium where as the spiny eel are much shorter at 18cm.📏

Keep plenty of cover and hiding spaces for these perfect oddballs🐟

Hoplisoma concolour are a beautiful community tank addition! Stunting a bright orange and gunpowder grey colour contrast🤩😮‍💨

Like other Corydoras species they need a soft sandy substrate and feed on catfish/ sinking pellets, bloodworm and Tubifex🪱🪱

They are also entirely peaceful meaning so long as you have a group of them they’ll happily parade your aquarium🐟🐟
