Doggies n Moggies Retreat is a luxury cattery, small pet boarding & doggy daycare centre situated in the beautiful Eden countryside between Carlisle and Penrith. We have comfy rooms and lots of open space to walk dogs and cosy cat rooms to make your pets feel at home. During their stay your doggies n moggies will be kept company by Rachael, the owner of the retreat, Rachael was previously a registered veterinary nurse with over a decade of experience working with animals.

- Cat standard room £13 + £5 per extra cat

We are happy to give your cat a daily brush if they are happy to let us (especially our longer haired friends!). We have some basic grooming equipment at the cattery but you are welcome to bring your own brushes from home.

Not only does brushing keep the coat & skin healthy it can also provide good bonding opportunities (in cats that will tolerate it! 😂)

We have comfy dog rooms and cosy cat rooms to make your pets feel at home. During their stay your doggies n moggies will be kept company by Rachael, the owner of the retreat. Rachael was previously a veterinary nurse with over a decade of experience working with animals.

Doggies n Moggies Retreat opened in 2017 to provide safe, comfortable boarding for dogs, cats and small furries. We wanted to make our facilities less like a kennel, and more of a home from home for your much loved pets, with lots of one-to-one time to help them settle in during their holiday.
