She has been with us for a little over a month now and in that time she has been brilliant. She is very well behaved, good to pick her feet up, good to lead, good to load. Just what I have come to expect of these horses.

She is broken to ride and rides very well, she goes off your leg or voice, she happily stands at the mounting block, she is not strong or silly. Hacks away by herself fine, I have not been able to get her out in company but I would not anticipate it her bothering her.

She has faced all kinds of traffic with us with no issues, she does prefer to walk around man holes on the road, no big reaction she just gives them a gentle swerve.

She has a very friendly attitude and will stand to have her head and neck scratched all day, I actually had a customer last week bring her sister along for a viewing on a different horse, and the sister fell in love with this gentle girl. Stood with her head resting on the lady's chest just being stroked - all with in about ten minutes of meeting her.

Last had her feet trimmed on 16/04/2025 and her teeth done 4/4/2025. She is up to date with worming and lice and does not appear to ever have had feather mites, there is no thickening of the skin.

Olivia is a wonderful horse, her temperament is faultless, she is so calm and relaxed that my seven year old granddaughter leads her into the indoor school and can even loose lunge her, as well as pick all her feet up and clean them out and Olivia just lets her.

She is currently unbroken as she had a foal last year with her previous owners. She has great movement, very light on her feet, she just glides. Her movement is all straight and correct, and it is just a pleasure to see her trotting round the school.

She came to us fully handled and settled into the stable immediately, within an hour it was like she had been with us for years.

She has no stable vices, good with her feet, good to load, she is quite an affectionate horse (Loves a good scratch).

June came to us at the end of May unbroken, from a good friend of ours. We have since broke her to ride, which she has taken to very well. She has cautious temperament, certainly not spooky but she is alert like most sports ponies. As such I would most comfortable to homing her to a confident young rider looking to do more or perhaps to someone who has an experienced person to help them, someone who knows the difference between an honest young horse and one that is just trying it on.

Her stables manners are brilliant, she ties up, leads, picks her feet up, stands for the farrier, has only been loaded a few times in her life but is not an issue to load. Currently barefoot and has never had shoes on before.

She will stand at the mounting block, walks and trots going off your leg or voice, we have not tried to canter her, as you can see from the photos our rider is a bit tall for June and we felt it was a bit unfair on June to try this, this is the same reason why he have not had June in traffic.

She is a very sweet pony with a kind nature - to the extent she even let my seven year old granddaughter ride her in our school.

Reeva is great with the farrier, to load, bath and has great stable manners. She came to us at the end of May beginning of June, she was a green horse when she came and since then we have put a lot of work into her. She will stand at the mounting block until asked to move, she is snaffle mouthed with a very soft mouth, whilst she will school in our small indoor, she was made for hacking. When ever she is out, her ears are forward and her head is up, she is not strong what so ever.

Feedback I get from people who try these horses and those who decide to take them tell me: "They are not as wide as they look" and "they are like riding in an arm chair."

Please do not be put off by her age, she really does have the mind of a horse twice her age, Reeva has been ridden by a fourteen year old novice rider and even my seven year old Grand daughter sits on her back whilst I prepare Reeva's stable.

Henry is a Jutland Horse, which is a Danish draught horse. I would describe Henry as a happy hacker, he has hacked out with us almost everyday and so far has not presented any issues. He is great with traffic both big and small as well as farm traffic, as we live next to a working farm.

He is happy to walk and trot, we have not asked anything more than this from him. He is currently being hacked out by a fourteen year old novice. Have not had him out in company but knowing this mans attitude I can not imagine him being an issue.

He has just had his feet trimmed and is currently bare foot, he stood well for the farrier, he is great in the stable/on the ground, stands at the mounting block, will go off your leg or off you voice, he is good to load and easy to catch in the field.

Flynn is just an honest horse he is great in traffic, has great stable manners, was previously ridden by a fourteen year old (who got a bit clipper happy) he will happily school away but he loves to hack out, he has hacked out in company and alone with no issues.

He is fine with heavy traffic and even farm vehicles, if you want a relaxing ride on a loose rein he will switch off and plod along, if you want a bit more he will give it and will happily trot for miles.

This sweet girl has been broken by us she hacks out by herself, we have not had the opportunity to hack her out in company but I do not think that it would trouble her. She stands at the mounting block and does not move until instructed so. She walks, trots and has just started to canter this week.

So far she has shown no signs of being bothered by traffic or anything on the roads. E.G. traffic signs, white lines, manholes/drains or even the large speed zones that are painted on the roads.
Her stable manners are excellent, stands to be caught in her stable she leads out to the water trough for a drink and will stand still tied up whilst her stable is made ready. There are no issues when tacking her up, she takes her bridle and saddle without moving. She has made some big improvements lately and I am now happier with her to say that I think she would do a confident novice.

CUMBRIA BASED - as I get a lot of people who seem to think we are at the far side of the world and don't want travel to view.
She is reasonably priced and unlike other adverts I see, her price will stay the same no matter how much work we put into her. Because whether we sell her quick or not, she has to be worked, she has to be trained.

She is a fully registered Ardenne mare, she is broken to ride only and does it very well. She is very good on the ground, good for the farrier and we had her teeth done on 19/7/23.

Tess will stand at the mounting block, she goes off the leg, she is good in traffic and enjoys being out and about.
