🔌 CHARGING AHEAD OF THE GAME 🔌

Behind every great event power solution is a team constantly looking for ways to do things better.

This week, our Warehouse Manager Rob has been putting our CNC machine to work, designing and manufacturing bespoke protective surrounds for our range of Fast Amps Alpha 7 car chargers.

Using our CNC machine and resin liquid infill, Rob has created a practical solution to help protect the chargers while they’re being stored, transported and put to work on site.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 850 YEARS OF CULTURE 🎶

We are delighted to have supported the National Eisteddfod of Wales with full site wide temporary power and lighting on their 850th year in Pembrokeshire. We are proud to be working with Europe's largest touring/traveling cultural festival and interestingly only their second electrical partner since electricity was invented!

This year we delivered a huge volume of equipment including multiple proportional load sharing generator packages, hundreds of distribution boards and countless km’s of festoon, all installed and currently being removed by our awesome team.

We look forward to Mid Wales in 2027 and Cardiff in 2028.

From Henley Royal Regatta to Henley Festival in just 89 hours. 🚣🏻‍♀️ ➡️ 🎪

A huge amount of infrastructure came out, and an entirely new site came to life.

A Big Top. A Spiegeltent. A floating stage on the Thames complete with full production, video, lighting and sound. A brand new auditorium. Miles of cabling. Countless hours of planning and teamwork.

It’s an incredible transformation, and we’re proud to have played our part in powering it.

A huge well done to our entire team for another exceptional delivery. Now it’s time for Henley Festival to take centre stage. ⚡️

🍽️⚡️FULL PLATES, FULL POWER⚡️🍽️

Ever wondered what it takes to provide VIP hospitality for up to 2,500 people a day for 7 days?

While guests enjoy the food, drinks and riverside views, there’s a whole world of infrastructure working behind the scenes.

This year we’ve been powering everything from back-of-house catering and bars to technical equipment and bespoke electrical installations across sponsor and hospitality areas at Henley Royal Regatta.

And just as the last plate was cleared, our team were already beginning to de-rig, redesign and re-build the site - starting all over again for Henley Festival.

One site. Two events. One amazing team. 🌟

Figure of Eight Events has heavily invested in the latest generation of Instagrid One units and Link 36 battery packs, expanding our ability to provide flexible, resilient power solutions on site.

From emergency lighting and backup power systems to tool power, remote site supplies and bespoke applications, these units can be adapted to suit a wide range of operational requirements.

Combined with our existing contactor distribution systems, they can also provide automatic support for emergency lighting and temporary lighting during build and break periods in the unlikely event of a power interruption.

Whether it’s a structure requiring emergency backup, a welfare cabin in a remote location or a unique site-specific challenge, we can tailor a solution to suit.
