Honeymoon over, and I'm back. I (predictably) met and made friends with lots of dogs.
There are street dogs in lots of countries, and it certainly seemed like those in Sri Lanka do get treated much better than those in other places I've been (eastern Europe I'm looking at you). But...they're still street dogs, and it's hard to see. Your dogs are so lucky to have you, and they know it. Cherish them, because you can be damn sure that they cherish you. As much as I would have loved to "save" every dog I met, it's a practical impossibility. The best I could manage was to give them a foot to sleep on, and the feeling that they could rest for 5 minutes in safety without being moved on or harassed. Do I wish it could have been more? Of course I do.

Please note that I am away on my honeymoon between 22nd Feb and 8th March. During that time Vincent, Jo and Elise will still be working, but last minute additions or amendments will be difficult for me to approve and allocate accordingly.
Make sure that if you're ad hoc that you've got your walks booked for the coming weeks by the 19th Feb!

We've had some customers move out of area recently, and resultantly have group walk spaces available throughout the week, so if you're looking for dog walking services get in touch. Please note that we do not currently offer services in Cardiff North, but we do cover Cardiff East, most of Cardiff Central except for areas where access is restricted, and Cardiff West.

🌈 The lovely Sherlock passed away this week. At 13 years old, he was still full of energy...he had a lot of love for the ladies...and he was just the happiest boy all the time. Literally nothing fazed him, he was wonderful to have around.
I've had to write too many of these types of posts this year, it's genuinely heartbreaking every time and by far the hardest part of this job. Sherlock will be greatly missed by us all.
"Dogs don't need to stay around as long as humans, because they already know how to live a good life".
Riposa in pace Sherlock ❤️
