Happy Halloween! 👻🕷️🎃

The last before Eggy's promoted to Big Sister...

We've been growing a little pumpkin of our own, due March 2025! 🥰

This does unfortunately mean there will be some changes in our services:

🐾 Boarding & Daycare- still available until the end of the year but will not continue in 2025 due to licensing restrictions ☹️

🐾 Walks & Drop-ins- still available up until February (final date will be confirmed later) 🫶🏽

🐾 Walks & Drop-ins- will return in Summer 2025 💕

I've spoken to a few regular clients already but will get round to messaging you all (if you don't catch this post!).
Thank you all for being understanding, I hope to get everything back up and running next Summer! Eventually, with our own little helper ❤️

Day 11-14: Berlin 🇩🇪 - Rotterdam 🇳🇱 - Hull 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 - Cardiff 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Well what an eventful end to our European tour 😅

After leaving Berlin and travelling to Cologne, our gear box on the van completely blew (very luckily, as we came off the autobahn). We pulled over and called our breakdown cover, game over 😔

We walked to the nearest hotel, leaving most of our belongings in the van whilst it was then towed to the nearest garage.

The following morning, we realised the van could not be fixed before our intended return date so it would be set to be repatriated back to the UK and we'd have to find an alternative way home 💔

As we had Eggy with us, returning home wasn't that simple!
We looked into hiring cars, one of us flying back and returning with our other car or having friends pick us up, all proving to be very expensive and time consuming.

We were limited with options but found that the ONLY ferry line that allow walk-on passengers, travelling with dogs, is the Rotterdam to Hull P&O line.

So, the following morning we took a 6 hour train to Rotterdam, had lunch and then boarded the overnight ferry to Hull. We then took another 6 hour train down to Cardiff 😩

The journey was long and stressful, but a story for the grandchildren 😂

Eggnog was an absolute dream, bless her, relaxed and snoring away on the train 🥰

We're back home now and have recovered! The van shall be back in Wales in a few weeks time, we're hopeful that it can be repaired. In the meantime, walks will continue but with a smaller car! ❤️💪🏽

Day 11: Berlin 🇩🇪

Eggnog's first visit to the zoo!
She's had such a fun day exploring the biggest zoo in Europe, very well behaved all day 🫶🏽

Day 10: Prague 🇨🇿 - Berlin 🇩🇪

We've arrived in our Hotel just outside of Berlin in one piece- although the van did like to test us 😅

Eggnog loves the Autumn leaves and cooler conditions, perfect for longer walks!

Day 9: Prague 🇨🇿

Happy Birthday to Me! (Eggnog's Mum, Chloe) 🎉🥳
We spent a wonderful day in Prague, sight seeing an, illusion museum, mini golf, a butterfly walk-through and some amazing food 😍

Day 8: Bayerbach 🇩🇪 - Prague 🇨🇿

We explored the beautiful German countryside before heading onto our next destination- Prague!

We've unfortunately encountered some issues with the van, we're hoping it'll be fixed in the garage today, pray for us! 🤞🏽

Day 7: Lake Garda 🇮🇹 - Innsbruck 🇦🇹 - Bayerbach 🇩🇪

Another day on the road for us, over the Austrian Alps and into south Germany where we had our favourite meals yet! 😍

Day 6: Lake Garda 🇮🇹

Our last full day in Italy consisted of beautiful lake views, ice-cream and a rainy mini golf ⛳

Eggy's loved having a balcony to sleep on and staying at such a dog friendly resort 🥰

Day 5: Lake Garda 🇮🇹

We've had fun exploring the holiday resort this morning, Eggnog's finding lots of new smells and places to explore. We visited Movieland, luckily it's just around the corner so we were able to pop back and forth to Eggy 😊 🐾

Day 3: Nancy 🇫🇷 - Zurich 🇨🇭

Eggy's been making friends and trying pizza whilst we've visited the Lindt Chocolate factory! 🍫❤️

Day 2: Saint-Quentin - Reims - Nancy 🐾🇫🇷

On our way to Nancy, we stopped at Reims to check out their huge cathedral and to get an ice-cream. Eggnog loves travelling in her little trailer, perfect for when it's a bit too warm for her to be walking far! ❤️

OUR EUROPEAN ADVENTURE!

Day 1: Cardiff 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 👉🏽 Saint-Quentin🇫🇷

What a long travel day we've had, from a 4am start, we finally made it to our first stop in Saint-Quentin!

We were surprised to see the cute exercise park in Dover port, we would definitely use the ferry again when travelling with dogs 😊

Eggnog travelled like a dream, slept more than we did and it settled into a life on the road already 🐕🚐

These 3 didn't mind the rain today because they got to spend an hour playing with their friends 🥰

Group walks are a great way to combine socialisation and exercise! 🙌🏽
