I would say the 4am wake up wasn’t worth it for today’s Regionals, but I’d be lying - a day spent with my lovely horse is always a win! Kimbo was her usual self, gave me a lovely ride through the PSG and as always I absolutely loved riding her 😁 We had one error in the canter transition but other than that I was really pleased with her! But today the judges didn’t agree and we got our lowest ever score on 63.68% to finish near the bottom of the leaderboard 😔 Obviously I was gutted as Kimbo was lovely as usual and we’ve been lucky that most of the time the judges are happy with our work so it was really disappointing that they weren’t today, especially at Regionals. No point in dwelling on it, I was really happy with her and just need to focus on improving myself and keep trying to be better to do my wonderful horse justice 😁
