🇬🇧 Why handmade still matters…

Every NOSE BAGZ® hay feeder is designed by horse owners and handmade in Wales, one at a time, by skilled machinists using carefully selected, high-quality materials.

We don’t import ready-made products or mass-produce our hay feeders. Every NOSE BAGZ® feeder is individually handmade to order here in Wales.

From the first cut of fabric to the final stitch, every feeder is made with care, attention to detail and pride in our work.

When you choose NOSE BAGZ®, you’re not just buying a hay feeder. You’re supporting British manufacturing, skilled craftsmanship, and a small business that’s passionate about creating products we’re proud to put our name to.

We believe there’s something special about knowing who made your product, where it was made, and the care that went into making it.

Thank you to everyone who has supported NOSE BAGZ® over the years. Your support allows us to continue making our products here in Wales, and we’re incredibly grateful for every single order. ❤️

☀️ As the warm weather continues, many paddocks are beginning to dry out.

As grass growth slows, its nutritional value can start to decline too. Every field is different, but this is often the time of year when horse owners begin introducing a little hay alongside grazing to help ensure their horses have access to plenty of fibre.

The Hay Cloud Cushion offers a simple way to provide hay in the field while encouraging natural, slower foraging. With multiple feeding points, it helps mimic browsing behaviour, keeps horses occupied and adds a little enrichment to their day.

Whether you choose to feed hay in nets, on the ground, in our mobile hay feeders or in a Hay Cloud Cushion, making sure your horse has access to adequate forage is so important as the seasons begin to change.

Have you started feeding hay in the field yet, or is your grazing still holding up? We’d love to know where you are in the country and how your paddocks are looking! 🌿

☀️ Is Your Stable Heatwave Ready? 🐴

When the temperatures rise, a few simple changes can help make your horse’s stable a cool, comfortable place to escape the heat.

🥵Create a cool place to rest
Bringing your horse into a shaded, well-ventilated stable during the hottest part of the day can give them a welcome break from the sun.

🌬️ Maximise airflow
A stable guard allows you to safely leave the stable door open, helping fresh air circulate. If it’s safe to do so, a fan can also help keep the air moving.

🌾 Keep forage available
Our breathable hay feeders encourage relaxed, natural feeding, allowing your horse to enjoy forage at their own pace while staying comfortable in the stable.

💤 Make it a comfortable place to relax
A clean, fresh bed creates an inviting space where your horse can stand, stretch out or simply enjoy a peaceful rest away from the heat.

💧 Fresh water is a must
Always make sure your horse has access to plenty of clean, fresh water, topping up buckets regularly throughout the day.

Every horse is different, so always keep an eye on them during hot weather and adjust their routine to help them stay comfortable.

💡 Nose Bagz Tip of the Day!

One of our favourite little hacks…

If you’re struggling to find somewhere to hang your Hay Catcher, a simple suction hook can be a game changer.

They’re inexpensive, easy to find online and can be moved whenever you need them, making them a handy solution when fixed hooks aren’t available.

Sometimes the simplest ideas make life around horses that little bit easier! 😊
