TRAINERS WANTED – JOIN THE K9 SOLUTIONS TEAM
K9 Solutions is growing, and we’re looking for experienced, enthusiastic dog trainers to join our training team at Canvey Island.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from trainers with experience in:
• Pet dog obedience and life skills
• Puppy training and puppy classes
• Trick training
• Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme (KCGCDS) classes
We’re looking for trainers who are confident working with both dogs and people, who can make classes enjoyable and engaging whilst still delivering high-quality, progressive training.
You’ll need to be comfortable teaching groups, adapting exercises for different dogs and handlers, and creating a supportive environment where owners feel encouraged rather than judged.
What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience teaching dog training classes
• A good understanding of modern, reward-based training methods
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• The confidence to manage a class independently
• A genuine enthusiasm for helping owners get the very best from their dogs
We’re especially keen to hear from trainers who have their own areas of expertise or ideas for classes and workshops they’d like to develop.
K9 Solutions has been helping dogs and their owners for over 25 years, and we’re now looking to expand what we offer with the right people alongside us.
This could suit an established trainer looking for additional teaching opportunities, or an experienced trainer who would like to become part of an established training centre without the pressure of running everything themselves.
