Who doesn't love a Sunday clean and reset? 🧹✨

We have some special guests staying with us this week — Quailetta, Beakley and Bartle-Bee — who are boarding with us while their owners enjoy a well-earned holiday.

After a good clean-up, they're now settling in with fresh bedding, new toys, and plenty of comfort. Safe to say they're loving their refreshed space! 🤎

Introducing Bean 🐾
The story of how two dog lovers became cat people 😅

Bean was just 4–5 weeks old when she was brought into the vets after being found in a soggy box down an alleyway 💔
Following protocol, the vets advertised her on local groups while waiting to see if an owner would come forward. Fortunately for us, nobody ever claimed her. In the meantime, she stayed with us at the practice.
As the August Bank Holiday approached, I offered to take her home for the weekend so she’d have some company (and plenty of food!) while the vets was closed. During those three days, she and our resident dog, Boone, became the best of friends — and we quickly realised it would be unfair to split them up.

Neither of us had ever owned a cat before, and I suffered with really bad allergies during the first few weeks, but the love only grew stronger. Now we’re lucky enough to have the most purrfect, loving, and slightly crazy little madam in our lives 🤍

Bean has taught me so much about cats, and because of her, I now advocate for our feline patients every single day 🐾🤍

Introducing Klaus 🦔💛
Klaus has been our longest resident, arriving back in July. He came to us after an attack by a larger animal left him blind in his right eye, meaning he sadly couldn’t be released back into the wild.
With his limited vision, Klaus can sometimes wander in circles — and last week that led to a bit of a scare. He managed to get his leg caught in his bedding, creating a tourniquet. We couldn’t safely free him while he was conscious, as his instinct was to curl up tightly to protect himself.
After a day at the vets, and some much-needed help, Klaus was safely released. X-rays were taken to check for any lasting damage — and while we were relieved his leg should recover, they also revealed something unexpected: an old fracture in his other hind leg that had healed on its own, albeit not quite in alignment.
Despite everything he’s been through, Klaus continues to take it all in his stride 💛

Meet Dunk and Lyonel — the newest arrivals, now settling in with Egg 🥚🐥

Dunk certainly knows how to make an entrance… just not quite on his feet yet 💛
He’s had a tough start, dealing with splayed leg syndrome, so his legs will need support and bracing to help him learn to stand and walk properly.

Lyonel hasn’t had it easy either. Like Egg, he was being trampled in the brooder and needed to be removed quickly to keep him safe.

It’s not the easiest beginning for either of them, but both are now in the right place 💛

We’ll be with them every step of the way.

🐾 We take our work seriously… even when we’re on holiday. 🐾

For us, switching off isn’t always an option — especially when there are animals who need us the most. So this time, the most vulnerable came along for the ride. 💛

Because rescue doesn’t stop when we leave home.
Because some animals just can’t wait.
Because every life matters, no matter where we are. ✨

From new sights and gentle adventures to quiet moments of reassurance, these special guests can enjoy a change of scenery — and plenty of love along the way.

This is what rescue looks like.
This is why we do what we do.

Thank you for supporting us, wherever the journey takes us. 🐾💛

Why we do what we do… 🐣💛

Meet Egg, our latest arrival and just in time for Easter.

When Egg arrived, he was cold, weak, and barely able to stand. He had been trampled by his siblings, leaving him with an injured little wing, and at first we weren’t sure he would survive the night. It was very touch and go.

With gentle rewarming, syringe feeds, soft bedding, and lots of love (plus plenty of cuddles from the children), Egg slowly started to gain strength.

Just four days later, he’s thriving in his new environment — stronger, brighter, and full of life.

Swipe to see the before and afters 🐥💛

Webb of Hope - About Us

Webb of Hope Animal Rescue was founded by Registered Veterinary Nurse Kiera and her partner Jack with one simple mission — to give vulnerable animals the extra care, time, and compassion they need to survive and thrive.

What began as helping one animal in need quickly grew into a heartfelt commitment to rescue and rehabilitate those who may otherwise be overlooked.

Our journey started with a wild hedgehog who had been attacked by a larger animal, leaving him with severe damage to his eye. Sadly, he lost his sight and was no longer fit for release back into the wild. He became our first rescue — and the inspiration behind everything we do. Providing him with safety, comfort, and lifelong care showed us just how much difference one person can make.

Soon after, a six-week-old kitten was found alone in an alleyway over a bank holiday weekend. With nowhere else to go, she came home with us. Despite her difficult start, she quickly bonded with our resident dog, and the two became inseparable best friends — a reminder that love and companionship can heal even the smallest hearts.

Most recently, we welcomed a week-old chick with a deformed wing. Unable to stand, he had been laid down and was being trampled by his siblings. The first few days were incredibly touch and go, requiring round-the-clock care and careful monitoring. Today, he is strong, thriving, and enjoying his new environment — a true example of resilience and second chances.

At Webb of Hope Animal Rescue, we specialise in animals that need extra care, rehabilitation, and patience. Whether injured, abandoned, or born with additional needs, we believe every animal deserves compassion, safety, and the opportunity to live a full life.

This isn’t just a rescue — it’s a sanctuary built on kindness, dedication, and hope.

Every life matters. Every rescue tells a story. And this is only the beginning.
