Last week i helped with cat sitting of lulu. I had lulu a couple of weeks ago. Was a pleasure to see her again. She loves sunbathing in the sun 🌞

Last Saturday i had the pleasure of looking after zus/lulu and otis. 3 years ago last Saturday, i helped with lulu,zus and archie 😳😳. Archie is over the rainbow 🌈 😢 he was a lovely big giant and is truly missed by all. However the family have welcomed in otis. Such a kind gentle sole. Zus and lulu are just as i remember them and bonus they remembered me 😍🐶

Was zeke birthday Wednesday 🎂 🥳 🎉 he is the big 5. Still as crazy and happy little lad, can not belive i have been walking zeke since he around

🔥🌞🌡☀️Always do the back of the hand test. If you can not hold your hand for more then 5 seconds. It is to hot for your pets. Clients who have artificial grass. Please double check as well, this can also get very hot 🔥. Best to hose down patios and grass before dogs are let out. Let the water run till it is cold. If the tap is in sunlight it will be very hot, hot water can lead to 3rd degree burns for humans and pets.

Is the pavement too hot for paws?

On hot days, tarmac can heat up quickly and become hot enough to burn your dog’s paw pads.

To check if the surface is too hot, place your hand on the ground for seven seconds. If it feels too hot for you, it is too hot for their paws.

Walk early in the morning or later in the evening, choose shaded routes where possible, and keep plenty of fresh water nearby.

And when in doubt, skipping the walk is the safest choice.
