Another heatwave 😭

With temperatures due to hit around 30°C from Wednesday, I'm going to have to make a few temporary changes to keep all the dogs safe and comfortable.

I'll be starting from 7am where possible to avoid grooming during the hottest part of the day. These appointments will be arranged depending on the dog's age, breed and how well they'll cope in the heat.

I'll also be keeping a close eye on the weather and will make a judgement if I feel it's too hot for a groom to go ahead. Your dog's welfare will always come first

If you'd rather postpone until it's cooler, that's absolutely fine too. I'll happily open up one of my days off to fit anyone in who's had to rearrange, just pop me a message. 😊

As I'll need to keep the van cool with the air conditioning running, I'll need access to plug both the van and my extension lead into your electricity supply.

Hi everyone! 🐾

Just wanted to pop on and say a huge thank you for all of your recommendations, shares and enquiries recently. It really does mean the world to a small business like mine. ❤️

I'm currently booked up until the end of August/early September, so if you're thinking about getting your dog booked in, please bear this in mind and book as far in advance as possible.

If I do get any cancellations, I'll pop them on the page and they'll be offered on a first come, first served basis.

To avoid disappointment, I'd always recommend booking your dog's next appointment before I leave, especially if you prefer a particular day or time.

A little reminder that if you do need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Unfortunately, cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged at the full grooming fee, as it's very difficult to fill appointments at short notice.

Following the owner’s request, we have turned off comments on this post to help prevent confusion from unconfirmed or incorrect sightings.

If you believe you have seen her, please do not approach or call her, as this could frighten her and cause her to run further away. Instead, contact the number on the missing dog poster immediately with the location, direction of travel, and time of the sighting.

The owner has also requested that the number of people actively searching is kept to a minimum, as too many people in the area may push her further away and make it harder to bring her home safely.

Thank you all for your continued support, understanding, and cooperation. Every genuine sighting reported promptly to the contact number could make all the difference in helping get her home safely. ❤️

🐾 Heatwave Update 🐾

After keeping a close eye on the weather forecast, I've made the difficult decision to close on Wednesday and Thursday due to the extreme temperatures.

Unfortunately, even with the air conditioning running, it isn't safe to groom dogs in the van during this level of heat. The welfare of every dog in my care will always come first, and I would never want to risk a dog suffering from heat stress.

Although I won't be grooming on Wednesday or Thursday, I'll still be available for admin, so please feel free to message me if you need to book, rearrange an appointment, or have any questions. I'll get back to you as soon as I can. 😊

Thank you all so much for your understanding and continued support. I know it's disappointing when appointments need to be moved, but I'm sure you'll agree that keeping the dogs safe has to come first. ❤️🐾

Temperatures are forecast to reach over 30°C from Tuesday, and unfortunately these conditions aren't safe for the dogs. The last thing I want is for any dog to suffer from heat stress, so I'll be making a few temporary changes to keep everyone safe. 🐾❤️

I'll be starting work earlier, so if you're booked in this week and don't mind a 7am appointment, please let me know before I start messaging everyone individually.
