Old man Wally ❤️

Wallys owner notified me that Wally had been chewing his foot and had made it sore. Whilst I was grooming him I found that he’d had a grass seed stuck in his foot and that’s what was causing the irritation. Once the grass seed was removed I there was some slight bleeding and puss running out from the wound. After a bit of patching up and some antiseptic spray Wally went home feeling much better 🙏

Whilst out and about on patrol during this spell of hot weather, it has been brought to our attention that people are still walking their dogs during the heat of the day. By doing this your pets are at risk of heat stroke which can be fatal and easily prevented by using some of the advice provided by Dogs Trust on the link below or using the Vets Now table attached as a guide.
