We made it! Longer days, warmer nights, and baskets full of farm fresh eggs!

Our girls are happy to be out and enjoying the sunshine again, and our egg boxes are over flowing with bounty.

To make sure your chooks keep up their egg production here are some top tips to happy hens:

🩷Keep their coop clean and tidy with plenty of fresh hay

💧Make sure fresh water is available every day - egg creation is thirsty work

🐜Check for parasites now that the weather is better

Sweet Bess! What would we do without her! Today is National Pup Appreciation Day and Bessy girl is the besteest girl in the world!

Farm life just isn't the same without a farm dog.

She looks after our chickens, cows, and ducks with grace and love....and she knows to leave the grumpy geese to themselves 😂

Did you know chickens are great for pest control? 🐛🐜🪲🦗🪳🦟

Chickens in a greenhouse can create a symbiotic system where they contribute to pest control, soil enrichment, and even warmth.
