This little space under the table became someone’s safe place for quite a while 🤍
Not every success story needs photos.
A few months ago, a very fearful little dog joined us at daycare. The environment felt overwhelming for her at first, so we gave her the one thing she truly needed — time. Patience, respect and empathy.
She spent much of those early days tucked away in a quiet room with her blanket under a table, which quickly became her safe space. We never pushed interaction or forced socialisation. Instead, we simply sat nearby, allowed her to observe, decompress and approach us when she felt comfortable enough to.
Over time, something really lovely happened.
The nervousness softened. Trust began to build. And now she runs into daycare excited to see everyone, happily mingles with the group and has become incredibly affectionate with us both.
One of the loveliest messages we’ve received from her owner recently was: “She’s madly in love with you both! It was really sweet how pleased she was to see you in the park last night 🤗”
We also wanted to share this as a reminder that whilst social media can offer a little glimpse into our days, not every dog you see thriving here is shared online. We fully respect and support clients who choose to opt out of social media content, and their privacy is always honoured.
Some of the most meaningful progress happens quietly, behind the scenes — built through patience, trust and allowing dogs the space to feel safe in their own time 🤍
