Duchy College Stoke Climsland Dog Grooming We offer a full range of dog grooming services at a reduced rate in an educational environment.

All grooms are under the supervision of a professional stylist/tutor. Services include: bathing, de-shed, nails, hand stripping, clipping & scissoring.

‼️ Appointment Updates ‼️

It’s coming to that time of year again where our courses are starting to finish for the summer, meaning we now have incredibly limited appointments available until the end of term.

Our students require certain breeds and coat types for their exams, and we are currently struggling to find enough poodle mixes and similar coat types. We will therefore be keeping some appointments available specifically for these breeds to help support our students in successfully completing their exams.

We are doing our very best to fit in as many dogs as possible, so please bear with us during this busy period. We really appreciate everyone’s continued support.

We are looking for specific breeds to visit our Duchy College Grooming Salon and support our Level 3 Dog Grooming students as they develop their skills.
🐾 Breeds needed:
• Shih Tzu
• Yorkshire Terrier
• Lhasa Apso
• Tibetan Terrier
• Cockerpoo
• Cavapoo
• Poochon
• Shipoo
• Jackpoo
• Miniature Poodle

📅 Appointments available:
Tuesdays
💷 £25 per dog
✔️ Must have at least 5+ weeks coat growth
✔️ No matting
✔️ Must be well-behaved and used to regular grooming
Your dog will be groomed by students under the close supervision of fully qualified tutors in a calm, friendly training environment 🐾

We’re quickly approaching the busy summer period, so we kindly recommend booking your appointments in advance to avoid disappointment.

Remaining availability in April:
• Monday 20th April – 9:15am (1 dog)
• Thursday 23rd April – 9:15am (1 dog)
• Monday 27th April – 9-15am space for 4 dogs
• Thursday 30th April – space for 5 dogs

We’re looking for well-behaved, regularly groomed Small poodle mixes e.g. cockerpoos to come into our training salon to help our Level 2 grooming students practise their skills. We have room to take on 3 dogs 🐾

All dogs are groomed by students but closely supervised by qualified tutors at all times.

We’re looking for dogs that:
• Are well behaved
• Are used to the grooming environment
• Are kept on a regular 6–8 week grooming schedule

✂️ Full groom / styling practice

🐶 SPANIELS WANTED! 🐶
We are looking for Cocker Spaniels, Springer Spaniels and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to visit our grooming salon and help our level 2 students practise their hand stripping and spaniel styling skills.
Your dog will be groomed by our dog grooming students under the close supervision of qualified tutors in our training salon.
‼️Must be use to the grooming environment and previously hand stripped
✂️ Hand stripping / spaniel styling practice

We’d like to officially welcome Michelle, our new dog grooming lecturer! 🐶✂️
You may have spotted our (camera-shy!) dog groomer around since November, but now that she’s settled in and teaching, we thought it was time for a proper introduction.
Michelle actually trained with us in dog grooming quite a few years ago, so she’s no stranger to our way of working. She also brings plenty of teaching experience, having taught a variety of subjects over the years.
Michelle now teaches with us part-time while also running her own unique business, combining hairdressing and dog grooming – how cool is that!
She’s a fantastic addition to our team and treats every dog as if they were her own. We’re so happy to have her with us 💛
