Can not stress this enough. Please don't feed your dog then exercise it, unfotrunately a few years back we lost a family dog to bloat and IT IS AWFUL, luckily my mum was on the ball and got her to the vets early enough to un twist the stomach and stitch it in place but even after this fact she was hospitalised for a few days before she eventually ended up dying anyway. Please think before you act!!!!!
Don't feed your dogs an hour before or after exercise, don't let them gulp water down right after eating, get a raised bowl if the dog is high off the ground,especially the wide chested breeds, look up what measures you can put in place to stop this happening,
mums dog was a great dane and had a wide chest, It IS LETHAL!!!!!

Sorry I haven't posted recently, iv been super busy the last few weeks with all these babies, there has been lots of fun walks,drop ins for cuddles and lots of training and ball throwing, pig feeding and even a little sheep walk around the field with my dogs, iv also been taking care of a local dog kennels also whilst the owner was away, it's been a really busy but really fun few weeks and have plenty more to come so if you want to book for a dog walk, drop in (let dogs out for a p*e n cuddle etc) pet/house sit or even if you want your puppies/kittens microchipped please do get in touch. My diary is filling up quickly though so make sure to get in touch as soon as you can to avoid disappointment,
I cover as far as Pwllheli/Porthmadog/ Caernarfon & Bangor and anywhere in between for pet sitting/walks etc
And as far as Holyhead, Colwyn Bay for pet microchipping. I can also do nail clipping.

So sorry to have been a little quiet lately with my updates,unfortunately and very sadly we lost one of our own last week, Pippin was my best friend from the day I picked her up as a tiny little pup who fitted in the palm of my hand, unbeknown to me she was only around 5 weeks old even though the breeder said 8 weeks old. From that day on she has never been far from my side and was always there for me through out her 16 years.
It has been super difficult grieving her loss and trying to work through the pain, & making sure the animals I take care of get the best of me.
She sadly passed on the 27th july and was then taken to who took amazing care of her, she came home forever on 31st July and will now be with me wherever home may be.

Please bare with me while I manage my feelings, but please know that my heart and soul will go into taking care of your babies when they are in my care.

I will update later on with all the wonderful animals I have taken care of these last few weeks and my adventures along the way.

It's been a funny ol weekend, firstly we inherited someone else's sheep, its been with us a few days but still haven't found its owner, played with the pups a lot and done some training, found a cat that had excaped and returned it to its owner, worked at the kennels, and found homes for some bunnies and ducklings. I'm having a well deserved day off tomorrow I think so I can just relax and re change. Hope everyone has had a great weekend.

It's been all go here the last few weeks, we've had 3 chicks/ a whoping 19 indian runner ducklings and 13 goslings hatch in the last couple of weeks, Amelia and Archie are super excited about the new arrivals, weve also worked really hard taking care of a Smallholding, walking dogs,and taking care of some cats too, not to mention witnessed the pregnancy and birth of a clients puppies and had french bulldog puppies of our own, they have now mostly been rehomed but we still have a few left,1 coco fawn boy, 1 red fawn pied boy and possibly a red sable fawn boy left and one stunning coco sable fawn girl, (both possibly reserved) they are 15 weeks old now so are ready for their forever afters. Some of the ducklings are also looking for new homes. For more info please get in touch.
I'm having a well deserved rest for a few days now before starting again at the kennels. It's all go and I love it :)
